Found it :) Can't find the suction cup thingy Mario she gave me one year that's on the mirror in the bathroom, though. I'm a lucky fella, she recently split the PS3 slim cost with me and she's hardcore into college fball.

Yeah, thats pretty standard UK pricing, and works out as about $57US for the standard and $82US for the tin. The US RRP (I think you guys call it MSRP) is $49.99. Man I hate the "being british tax" (at least its not as bad as MW2)

Though that's before the sales tax that differs per state. When I was over in Seattle for pPAX I picked up the new Layton, and it ended up costing the same as if I'd bought it here.
Also, the expense may be swayed by the fact that Wii games, especially first party, generally go on sale for the same as PS3 & 360 games at £39.99. For those games the retail price is generally equal thanks to the pounds regaining (slowly) strength - it's round about €1.6 to the pound now where it dipped close to $1.20 at one point.
In the US the Wii games go on sale $10 cheaper to begin with.

I'm a sucker for pre-order bonuses.

Wait. What's that? You say you have to pay extra for a tin box?

Uh... I think I'll pass. I'm not even on the right side of the Atlantic.

Along with the next No More Heroes game, this will be one of my only Wii purchases for a while.

I hope the US gets that nice case, too.

I'd be all over this if they offered it in the US. That tin is awesome and would be quite a cool thing to have in my collection.

It's £15, so it would end up an extra $24 or so if it goes over to the US.

Are they going to do this for all "wii-makes". They have already done it for metroid trilogy. And this is just a fancy version of new super mario bros ds.
