PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe gets DIY compatibility fix
Recent connection issues have marred European PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe owners from participating in rousing online games against North American and Asian players. Thankfully, the PlayStation Blog has released a two-part DIY guide to help fix the PSP game's issues. The process is simple:
- Delete your game through the PSP Home Menu (select Game>Memory Stick>press the triangle button with PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe highlighted and select Delete).
- Connect to PlayStation Store > Select View Downloads and re-download PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe from the Download List.

Wait to I download the new game first then delete the old one?
Could they have made it any more confusing? We aren't all techno gizmo gadget freaks ya know!

Confusing? Where is the confusion, they explained what you have to do first and then second.
1. Delete your game through the PSP Home Menu (select Game>Memory Stick>press the triangle button with PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe highlighted and select Delete).
2. Connect to PlayStation Store > Select View Downloads and re-download PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe from the Download List.
Where's the confusion?

I don't think you'd have any problems with the game if you had never downloaded it to begin with.
The problem there would be that you don't own the game...

this game it the only reason I still own my PSP. This game playes and feels much better on a PSP then it did on the PS3 and it's fun as heck!

I was just making a joke. They made a DIY that consisted of deleting the game and re-downloading it. Thats doesn't seem like much a compatibility fix.

Sarcasm understanding fail.
Johnny, I still love ya, even if some other people don't get your jokes.

I don't think PSP games can be patched, so they just upload the new file to the store for download.

Actually, I noticed that bringing up the triangle menu now shows an "Update" option. As far as I can tell, firmware 6.10 shows this option.

actually they can Socom Fire Team Bravo 2 has been patched many times, and all you had to do was log in and you download the patch straight onto you memory stick. I think this was easier I suppose.
