I have a pro with hdmi.
Yet, I had to buy a $50 adapter for 5.1 surround... So instead I opened the normal av cable, only to find out taking out the plastic makes it fit on top of the hdmi, and the sole reason MS made it big, was so you buy their adapter.

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games.”
I tried to instill into the company culture “skepticism, pessimism, and fear” of the global economic downturn, adding, “We are very good at keeping people focused on the deep depression.”

Great deal, to be sure. Just getting a 120GB HDD and a new elite is probably about that much, so it's great to have over double the storage space and an extra controller. It is a shame it lacks component cables though, but getting HDMI isn't an expensive deal. Don't fall for cables that are $30+.

*sigh* Hopefully a 250GB will be released in the future without a bundle, although, it will be ridiculously expensive. However, I, personally, feel content with my 120GB, although I am down to about 93GB and haven't even had the new HDD a year yet.

It doesn't help that this is also a MW2 bundle, and a fair share of folks are pissed at them (me included) for recent events...Then again, I doubt the people looking at this really care that much, so whatever. Still, I'd consider this a buy if I didn't own a 120GB and 2 controllers. My 360 isn't even old yet.

Author: I believe you meant to say no HDMI cable included. All 360's come with a component/rca combo cable.

Actually they don't come with component cables anymore ... just composite.

Wow. For people that aren't HDMI capable that really sucks then. HDMI cables however are easy to find for $5 or less shipped so.... Only component system owners really suffer here.
