They're all pretty bad this week. This might possibly be due to the absence of BiTF, simply because anything compared to it looks better.

Eh, in Scott's defense, he really does his comic with whatever joke he comes up with. He doesn't really care about timeline. His 360 broke, so he made a 360 joke.=P

That is the worst idea I have ever heard. There is basically no way that 360 is out of warranty for rrod. So, you can send it to Microsoft, who fix it for free, and get it back in 2-3 weeks.

Or you can be an idiot, void your warranty, and have a decent chance of breaking your Xbox permanently.

I say this as an A+ Certified PC Tech: "Don't be an Idiot, you can live without a 360 for a few weeks."

Uh...how about no. If I pay for $300 for a video game system 14 months ago, IT SHOULD NOT FAIL. I think Scott's comic is pretty accurate for how the 360 was built. How else could the hardware be such shit? I love the software, xbox live and what not are wonderful but...if someone gives you the most delicious gravy ever, but pours it over a couple of pieces of dog shit, how grateful can you be?

Schwal, he had a launch unit..... a LAUNCH UNIT. Ok that means it's 4+ years old. RRod warranty = 3 years thus expired, thus go fix it ur damn self. If he has a launch unit that means he never sent it in. Thus the warranty did not go into that 90 day warranty or the remainder (whichever is greater) period. What the hell ever happened to the days when u bought a TV, not even 20 years ago and it broke u fixed it ur damn self.

Be stupid? Are you calling me stupid u flacid twit? When mine was OOW I didn;t bitch and whine about it and tossed itin the trash and asked mommy and daddy for a new one or spend my hard earned cash for a new one like some ppl do. I fixed it myself and that was over a damn year ago. I fix my own consoles cause u know why? They don't red ring again because you fix the problem permanently. It isn't rocket science to fix a 360. Fixing a modern PC is probably a lot harder. I have since fixed over 10 bloody consoles for friends and coworkers most of which have been running over a year without issues.

Now, that does not excuse MS from having built unreliable hardware. Very true and that is probably how they designed the system. What I was saying is u can fix it urself if u don't want to buy a new one unless the mobo is fried, yeah then u will have to buy a new one. I dunno, I am just the kinda guy that takes matters into my own hands and I don;t like talking to ppl who barely speak English telling me to find my own box and mail my system and get a terribly refurbed back that could red ring 5 minutes after I take it out of the box.

Who's getting blood on their consoles? On not just a little, but enough to make the 360 die? You need new friends.
