It's hard out there for an assassin. It was hard for Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, anyway; father of Assassin's Creed II protagonist Ezio. As you can see in the teaser for Assassin's Creed: Lineage above, the dude had a lot on his plate -- and good thing he had a sharp knife, too, to handle all that meat carving. According to Ubisoft, you'll get to see how it went down when the first of three Lineage short films, introducing plot elements leading up to Assassin's Creed II, debuts on YouTube on October 27.
What we really want to know is: How did Giovanni manage to keep his whites so white? With all of that blood flying around, it must have been one helluva laundry day for the 15th century assassin.
Fucking Joystiq. I don't want to have to refresh my browser every time I finish watching one of your videos. That damn country singing hanes commercial is un fucking pausable and really annoying.
I find it helpful to open the article in a new tab, and then close the tab when the real portion of the video is done. Either that or remember to hit pause before it finishes fading out.
So was that Giovanni or Ezio stabbing people in white? Cause for one thing his outfit looked different and sorta brown when he said " I am Giovanni Auditore", and it doesnt make a whole lot of sense for Ezio to wear the exact same thing as his dad, right?

Funny, I guess Adblock is just extremely efficient. I've never seen an ad after a video here before..
I just played through the video again, and I get a minute or two of black screen at the end, resetting to the normal play button eventually.

he probably wear's his father's suit out of respect or something
i mean in one of the trailer's his father was hanged (ouch) and Ezio shouted 'i'll kill you for what you've done'
so he take's his father's clothe's and become's an assassin
we'll probably find out more about his father in the game or something maybe a book...
