Need for Speed Nitro rushes to retail in early November

Capitalizing on its Unique Art Style, the game will drape in-game vehicles with skins designed by popular "lifestyle brands," including Upper Playground, tokidoki, and i am 8-bit. You'd be right in calling it a product of marketing, but it's preferable to the alternative conjured up by the Dante's Inferno promotional team: in-game vehicles draped in human skins.

No, it's just a poor man's version in general.

Need for Speed: Shift is the poor man's Need for Speed.
Back on topic, does that tree remind anyone else of Mario 64?

Gotta love elitism, Hitler would have gotten nowhere without it.

Racing is one genre that really hasn't seen anything worthwhile on the Wii outside of Nintendo's own offerings, at least so far. Hopefully this could break that trend
Though i'm not seeing the hook, de Blob resemblance aside.

Ew. Look at how pixelated those graphics are.
I'm pretty sure this is Photoshopped.

Okay I understand graphics aren't everything but come on. Those trees? Inexcusable.
Games like this scream at the top of their lungs "we don't care".

I understand that the wii can't do hi def photorealistic visuals, and developers are compensating for that by focusing more on art direction, but ea's work on madden 10 for wii and now this is not the right way to do it.
That said, I congratulate ubisoft for taking the same approach and actually succeededing in making wii games that look attractive

Here's to hoping your Wii doesn't try to connect to PSN!

Glad to finally see a Need For Speed on Wii that feels like it was actually developed for Wii. While I’m not sure how much replay value this will have for me long-term, in the short-term it’s providing some great, thrill-a-minute fun…I love how intense the speed feels in this game and overall I just enjoy playing an arcadey style racing game better than a realistic sim. I only wish they would've included online play and pushed back the release date...but oh well, guess that's how they're going to get me to buy the next edition.
Also, props to EA for a great soundtrack, especially for the inclusion of Earl Greyhound’s “Oye Vaya” – it’s the ultimate driving song.
