Just for curiousity.. On what platform do you guys use to get games on? I play on PC, because I dont own any other platforms (will get a PS3 some day).

If it's available on steam, then steam. After that, xbox. The wii and PS3 I only use for ps3/wii exclusives. They're all nice platforms though, the important thing will always be the games.

Actually, the wii is a horrible platform that's stuck back in the last generation of processing power and connectivity. But that doesn't really matter because it still has a handful of great games.

There's nothing like getting a present from your relative on Christmas and when you open it up, it's a game! Not trying to sound like a homeless man, but let other people know what you want, and if they're kind enough, maybe they'll get you a copy of Borderlands or any other game you can't afford.

After already buying Uncharted 2, Demons Souls and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 in the last 2-3 weeks I'm pretty much done buying games other than a good PSN title (Trine ftw) Modern Warfare 2 & Assassins Creed 2 ... thats not including games like Afrika & Katamari for my fiance and the stuff we've bought the kids on Wii. So it's unfortunate to say but no Borderlands for me until after the new year. Maybe not even then with MAG, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, Gran Turismo 5 & God Of War 3 ...

oh man I wish I could play Forza 3 though ... I'm dying to try it out.

wow, looks like i touched a pretty sensible bone

the fact is, i been playing COD4 split screen with my friends lately on sundays (we play smash brother for about 4 hours then switch to COD4 for another 3 or so) and i just can't stand aiming using the left stick. i feel is way to innacurated and so unreal. Last time i checked, a mans movement didnt resembled a robot moving his arms with hidraulic gear, while with pc (keyboard+mouse) and wii feels more right, specially the Wii.

Thats why i cant bring myself to play a fps with sticks, never liked, never will, i'll always go the pc or wii option if I get to choose. If there's no option, then i wont play it. good thing there hasnt been a console only fps so far.

Now, if they'd give me the chance to play with keyb+mouse on my ps3, like unreal tournament 3 does, man i'll grab it in a flash (or as soon as my local retailers gets a hold of the game, which, is kinda like a week after being released on us)

I've been waiting for SSB to come out on VC since June. Nintendo really has been paying more attention to the UK than the US.

The weirdest part to me is that they release it and other games in other regions, but not here? If they've gone through the trouble to make it work with the VC (if that takes any effort at all) why not release it to all possible markets and get a higher return for it?

I might get Borderlands, depending on how long it takes me to beat Uncharted 2. Definitely looks like a dream for a loot whore like myself. Or maybe I should just wait and play all those Wii games that had been sitting in a box for the past 2-3 months.

Decisions, decisions. Well, at least there's Queen and Abbey Road.

uh hello? ... Nostalgia ... the rpg for the DS releases on Friday. Is no one excited for that? It's made by Matrix Software ... they remade FF 3 and FF 4.

I think you have it wrong, the "full' version of Borderlands doesn't come out till the 26th :P
