Not yet. It'll take some time. Madden 10 still doesn't have a lite version.

Dang, that set list is pretty lousy. Still better than Band Hero's, I guess.

I imagine this wouldn't be comfortable to play, but I may have to try it out.

I've been using the 2 thumb method and it seems to be working. Activating OD is another thing though. The game wants you to tilt to activate, but I've found that a slight shake works better.

Since my PSP was my Rock Band Unplugged player, I might finally be able to unload it now that this is out. Especially since the tracks on the PSP were the same as consoles, whereas here they are sold in two-packs for a buck. Here's hoping.

According to the Rock Band website, they have 5 track packs available in the music store already, but I don't see prices for them anywhere. Anyone who's purchased the game already know the numbers? Just curious.

There's also two Freezepop songs for free, making a total of 22 free songs after the Freezepop Pack download.

I just don't get it. I love music games, but the concept of this eludes me. Isn't the whole fun of the genre to emulate playing with instruments? How is tapping your fingers any fun or worth $10?

Just like DDR is only fun because it emulates real dancing, right? It's a rhythm game, guys, have you never played Parappa or anything?

But in DDR you're up and moving, which is really fun. Once again, you're emulating dancing. I don't know of any rhythm related art that involves tapping buttons. I've never played Parappa, so I wouldn't know about that. Rock Band on the iPhone to me seems analogous to pushing some controller buttons while listening to music.

Well, Parappa was one of the first rhythm games, and the gameplay revolves around button pushing. It's fun to tap along, same feeling you get from Guitar Hero/Rock Band/DDR, but on a small scale. Of course you don't feel like you're playing a real instrument, but it's still fun*.

*After playing iPhone RB, though, I have to say that while I respect Harmonix greatly and think they're the best music game dev, they really fucked it up. Honestly, TapTap is far better, and $2 for taptap 3, free for the others. I would say not to buy it.
