@Pibs, your backdoor hdd is probably going to be safe It's the unauthorized Datel memory unit that they will be blocking out... and it's a good thing too since the unit corrupts data on the regular.

Now if I could only get some customized weather for my area, I'd be set.

So is Nov 17 still the expected date or still slated for the fall?

I'm rather excited about this update. While I myself have nothing to complain about thats being added to Live. I want to see the changes they would bring to the social structure of the Xbox Community.

It would be far more useful if the NXE and shop fronted the DLC specifically for the games that I own. MS already has that data, so why not take advantage of it and make it even easier?

Plus, we should be able to enable/disable this update notification on a per game basis or, at least, for all games.

That's a really good idea that they should implement. I (obviously) don't care for the DLC for games I don't own and it would be nice if the stuff that pertains to me was up-front. I would also buy more DLC if the relevant content was in front of me, rather than me having to dig for it.

+1 to the petition.

Yes, in order to cut down on the clutter caused by 80% of the panels on Live being ads to try to sell you stuff, MS is going to ad new panels trying to sell you more stuff.

I think it is funny how all of these people seem to like MSNBC and probably the Democrats. They will cause this site do shut down when they take hold of one electronics company and nationalize it. Then you can just go to their website to get the "news."

When did liberals start wanting more government. Atleast hippies from the 60s wanted less government.
