And i'm glad I bought it for $0.01, that game isn't worth more :)

*Watches as this one gets downgraded just like my last one*

I paid $1.00 as that was really all I could afford. I needed the rest of my money for weekly travels to get to my expensive school while I wait for my financial aid to kick in.

A friend bought it for me, but I apologise for stealing a penny from the "take a penny leave a penny" jar. You dudes need to quit getting so violently offended about a game where the publisher specfically told buysing to "PAY WHATEVER YOU WANT". : \

I bought it for a $1 mainly because I found $20 to be way too high of a price and decided they get less from me because of it.

I figured paying 1/2 price ($10) was fair. It's one of the better native linux games, and the price gave me access to the win and mac versions also. Plus, it's not like this is some faceless publisher, it's basically 2 guys in 2Dboy. I don't regret the price, and I feel better about putting some food on their family's table.

I've been cutting back on spending, but wanted to give the developers something for their work, so I paid $6.50. Thing is, I'm actually a bit disappointed. While the game shows polish and creativity, it has some downsides, such as very limited toolsets for stages that limit replay value, a weird and confusing story that promises big revelations and turns out to be a total dud, and music that's trying hard for drama but just ends up annoying and borderline depressing. It seems the developers were really trying to make the game seem grand and epic, but it's just not. It's a quirky puzzle game with silly, disposable characters, kinda like lemmings, and IMO the attempts at drama/grandeur come across as pretentious and forced. Personally, I think the first section -the one in the free demo- is the best part of the game.

To those penny-payers who voted "That's all I can afford", yet likely go to eat fast food every day for $6-10... /rolleyes
