Molyneux confirms Natal support in Fable 3

Shocking absolutely no one, Peter Molyneux has confirmed that Fable 3 will support Project Natal in some fashion. The confirmation came during a lecture at BAFTA in London. The news was confirmed by Eurogamer's Johnny Minkley, who tweeted the info during the event itself. Molyneux also reportedly showed off Milo and proved that Natal is capable of scanning objects (people, presumably) in bad lighting.

Molyneux himself hinted at the possible inclusion of Natal in Fable 3 as recently as two weeks ago, though he neglected to confirm it for fear of a quick, sniper-borne death.

So that's that then: Fable 3 will use Project Natal. Of course, we don't speak for everyone, but we can't wait to pretend to fart in front of a crowd of adoring, virtual townsfolk.

The future is bleek....first gaming was moved to homes to avoid us meeting people at arcades, then multiplayer matches were removed so we can't have a lads night in any more, then online multimatches became the only choice for multiplayer in most games, now I can't even have real friends any more, I have to make freinds with a virtual boy to take away the sorrow of loosing all my real friends :D

I expect that everyone who is criticizing Natal will completely change their opinion once it comes out and sees just how awesome it will be. Fable III is defiantly a good flagship title for Natal to launch off of.

I defiantly believe that Natal is not just a Wii mote or Shpere, but motion capture technology on a higher level than those other two.

I mean, what games have they shown for it so far? Milo (which, let's be honest, is just a collection of minigames combined with talking to a chat-bot) and a couple of 'casual' minigames.

The fact that Microsoft keep on going on about 'controller-less gaming' for 'people who are intimidated by controllers' makes me think that it's not being targeted at your average Internet-Posting Gamer.

FINALLY! Developers are giving gamers exactly what we wanted. For years I heard people clamoring for more gesture-based game controls. I remember when Fable II came out sooooo many reviews saying it would have gotten a higher score if you could flail your arms around in Albion. HOORAY!!!
