Capcom shambles to the Toronto Zombie Walk
First: Toronto has an annual Zombie Walk? How cool is that? Anyhway, in order to promote Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, Capcom will have a presence at this year's brain-munching jamboree, which takes place on Saturday, October 24. The company will have a tent at the event, giving people free zombie makeovers. We presume Capcom will do this with makeup and not by doling out actual zombie bites. Capcom has also sponsored a series of rather disturbing ads for the event, one of which you will find after the break. Warning: It's gross.

Mmmm...meat paste....
In all seriousness, that annual "zombie walk" is going to become a powerful demonstration of Irony when the zombie apocalypse breaks out.

Wouldn't it be so ironic if there was an actual zombie
in the walk?

One zombie in the walk would quickly infect every "zombie" in the walk. After all, they'd all think it was good fun and wouldn't realize they were getting infected one by one until it was too late.

Pretty sure the first time someone screamed in pain terror and starting squirting blood, people would notice. And since they're all fans of zombies, they'd end it quick.

Vancouver also has an annual zombie walk. The streets are littered with thousands of the undead every year.

zombie walks are a global thing.. they happen in most major cities that have even a remotely large youthful population. At least in all of the cities i've lived in the past few years.. Austin TX, Vancouver BC, Portland OR, etc.

Denver, CO also.

Pittsburgh and Evans City zombie walk should be sponsored by capcom.... I mean it's freaking where the original Night was filmed...

There's a zombie walk here tomorrow night, too. Though we're not nearly the size of Toronto.
Kyle Mistry @ Oct 22nd 2009 8:09AM
Seriously, Toronto? The year I leave is the year you get Capcom sponsorship for the Zombie Walk?
Last year, the closest thing to Capcom sponsorship at the thing was a dude in the Lego man head Frank West getup.

This has to be better than the "find the limbs" promotion in the UK. I'm so totally going to this.
