I was just wondering how it was that From Software got the rights to Lego Zelda.

Spelunker tells us about 3D Dot Game Heroes
"It's basically a slightly less top view Gameboy Zelda game (the only Zelda games I've ever played and that I absolutely love) but without Link and Zelda. Don't worry, we still have Cuccos." :P
I can't wait to play this!

Game looks like a hoot. Really hope this gets localized in the US.

Here's what I got out of what I could read. It's an adventure RPG throwback to 2D 80s games (duh). The controls are simple: left stick moves the character, O button attacks, R1 guards, and X fires your subweapon. There is an onscreen key map as well (which shows that L1 brings up a map, Triangle for the menu, and Square for dash). Your character is charged with finding 6 people . . . though I could not read what kind of people. The end goal is to gain the 6 light orbs (yes, light orbs, like in FF1) which will grant the power to defeat the demon king. Anything else he said was either filler or was something I couldn't read.

The 6 people are philosophers, although in this context, I'm assuming they're sort of sorcerers.

This game looks great - definitely one to keep an eye on. I agree that the gameplay is VERY reminiscent of old school Zelda - but it was obviously also influenced by Dragon Quest... I mean just listen to the music in this video! Plus the characters look like 3D versions of the sprites in the NES DQ games. All of this just makes me more interested in the game though!
