Considerably more time, though, is spent pointing out how all of this will make the game less repetitive, clearly meant to reaffirm that, yes, Ubisoft Montreal is addressing one of the chief criticisms of the first game. But, wow, do they try their best to work this fact into the script. Watching the video, we half expected creative director Patrice Desilets to claim that Ezio will be able to groom his facial hair in various ways, thus adding more variety to the game. Kidding (or is it?) aside, the game is looking absolutely fab, and we can't wait to play through it in a variety of ways when it hits next month.

I smell GOTY...Oh yes, this is one of those amazing games. All I can say now is HECK YEAH! Easily my most anticipated game of the year.
Oh, and the ending was hilarious. I think it's clear that Ezio won't take that crap from those queers. He's a no BS kind of guy.
November 17 is approaching, can't wait for what will be a magnificent game.

Both are awesome characters, but for me, the winner is...
EZIO. No one can escape his hidden blade. It's just a fact.

Sorry, but Drake is just too damn lucky. Plus he has the advantage of modern weaponry. I vote Drake.

Drake does have the high-tech weapons. However, Ezio has an early form of a gun, and with his master precision, he could eliminate Nathan in a heartbeat.
However, Nathan Drake is the ancestor of Sr. Francis Drake, who was practically a pirate, so it's in Nathan's blood to be awesome, which we all know he is after playing the two games. Nathan is just fantastic, but my vote still goes to Ezio.

I was waiting for Zorro to pop out half way through the video.

That should be a hidden symbol at the end. Desmond is out of the Animus, you turn on your Eagle Vision, and right there in front of you is a glowing "Z". Then it ends.

I can't watch this video at work, but it seems to me from the few trailers I've seen that Ezio is somehow more easy going and devil-may-care than Altair, who was pretty grim. He seems more appealing.
Can't wait for this game.

I actually liked that aspect of Altair. In the beginning, he was so full of himself and to see him humbled by having his privileges removed was pretty cool. Also, Altair was mysterious, you didn't know his past or his future. You could come up with your own conclusions. With Ezio, it seems as though everything is going to be written out. I don't like that very much. I'm sure the game will be great anyway.

I have never understood the "repetitive" complaint. Between the exploration of the city, the variety of missions and the "help the citizen" side missions, I never got bored.
Now about 2/3 through when the game decides that its a brawler instead of a stealth action game, that pissed me off. I spent most of the game not getting into fights, and then all of a sudden you don't even have the option.

Video is broken for me. It's get about 1 minute (even after being fully buffered) and then goes back to the start. Can't skip past the part where the guys says "our game begins in 1476" ...

At least he has an native (Italian) accent this time. Not like the American "what are you doing after lacrosse practice" accent on AC1.

I'll rent it. I'm convinced Ubisoft strives for mediocrity and haven't produced a quality game in years...

Darn, the animation at 2:11 made it through the sequel jump. it's cool, we get it, but enough is enough already! I've killed 13 bajillion guys with that same animation, so let's see something new! the same animation could be modified easily by just having him slice upwards/downwards, decapitating/ dismembering the guy... not that hard.
