Xbox Live preview 'wave 1' invites out now

The "wave 1" invites to the Xbox Live update preview program are out now, according to Major Nelson. If your dear console has been invited to participate, there should be a prompt upon sign-in. A "wave 1" invite implies that more waves are incoming, so don't get too sad if ya didn't catch the first one, Moondoggie. Grab that board and prepare to ride a future wave to all that upgradedness.

anyone having problems with last.fm saying it cant connect, but it logs in and only half the features work?

great. yet more features that are region locked. im in okinawa and can't use the last.fm music streaming. add this to the list. netflix, video marketplace, call of duty 5 map packs, and now last.fm. sweet. at least i can use facebook on here. aside from my anger at the region locked content, the update is very well done.

Hmm...so I've got the email, but no updates are coming through when I load up Live. Guess this means i'm in Wave 2?

I GOT IN, i didnt really though i would be accpeted in first wave,

and even more accepting people from MIDDLE EAST :)

It sucks to live in sweden right now.. Last.fm was the feature i looked forward to the most :/

Got the update then not even a minute after got RROD. FML. I do want to say however I dont think the update caused the RROD. My xbox has been freezing while playing ODST for the past week it was probably just time.

I was playing Borderlands last night and got disconnected from Xbox Live. Upon reconnecting I was greeted with a message stating there was an update available. I said sure let's do this. I got the update but I also lost my progress in Borderlands since I didn't let it save. DOH!

I got in and i must say im probally never going to use any of the features, i cant use last.fm in game, or facebook, or twitter. I was expecting twitter to auto-tweet my achievements or something, also i couldnt find sky player (and im in the UK) is that not in this update?
