Tosh.0 giving 'N64 Kid' a second chance
72
It was with awkward trepidation that we first approached Comedy Central's Internet content-laden Tosh.0 -- working online all day can leave you feeling a bit strange when you find the same content in the TV box, ya know? But when we read over at GoNintendo that the exuberant comedian would be giving his famed "Web Redemption" treatment to the Internet's own "N64 kid," we couldn't help but get overexcited. We started pumping our fists in the air and shouting and ... well, you already know, don't you? The show will be airing this Thursday on Comedy Central, but check your local listings for the specifics.

yes, there are many many bad shows on tv (most of them) but there are also some good ones
30 Rock
Aqua teen hunger force
breaking bad
curb your enthusiasm
dexter
it's always sunny
lost
mad men
south park
the office
then there are a bunch of good shows/not great (bones, house, monk, psych, the closer, law and order)
on second look thats not too many shows and only a few elite. a lot fo the best shows are off the air

I like 30 Rock, The Office, Psych and Community.
Spectacular Spider-man and Batman:The Brave and the Bold are also great shows if you like super heroes. (And be serious, who doesn't?) The musical episode of Batman last night was brilliant. I tend to watch a lot of cartoons.
And I ashamedly (though not as much, they're both getting better) watch Smallville and Heroes, (Smallville is mostly due to my love of everything related to DC Comics).

The fact that no one here has mentioned Chuck disturbs me...

I think I acted the exact same way when I got my N64 10 years ago.

Seriously! I wasn't that over the top about it, but that's definitely the way I felt on Christmas when I got mine! As difficult to get as the console was at the time? That was maybe the best Christmas ever. Plus, I'm pretty sure they put that kid on a commercial at one point, which means he even made money in royalties. Lesson to you parents and parents to be, film your kids and exploit them for money!

@MowDownJoe: Me too.
Ditto for the lack of mentions for "Mad Men." Maybe I'm not in Joystiq's main demographic?

I remember when my Dad brought home the N64 back in 96.
I asked him where the PlayStation went lol
I forgot about it as soon as I started playing Mario 64 :]
