As good as Batman Arkham is, it doesn't feature any of the things I love about Ratchet & Clank, or the new time manipulation based puzzles!

They better do more with it than last time (referring to Tools of Destruction, haven't played Quest for Booty yet). Clank's sections really seemed too simple. I used to really love Ratchet and Clank, I've been playing since the first one, but these newer ones I feel less inclined to finish for some reason. Hm.

As tmac said below, Uncharted 2 was fun and all but Ratchet is where its at for me in terms of pure enjoyment when it comes to a game. Reminds me of how Nintendo used to make games.

Man there are a shitload of games for the PSP all of a sudden - I dont blame you for not being able to keep track... It snuck up on me too... I still need to get GT and Motor Storm on the PSP as well... I need a side job this holidat season!! LOL

Most music in general sucks now-a-days it's not just hip hop. However, there is still some really fantastic stuff out there if you know where to look and what to look for ... I'll make a few suggestions.

Immortal Techique (revolutionary vol 1 & 2 and The 3rd World)
Sick Jacken (The legend of the mask and the assassin and stray bulletts)
Akir (legacy)
Block McCloud (I was drunk when I made this)
Ras Kass (Institutionalized vol 2, revenge of the spit)
Outerspace (blood and ashes)
Diabolic (foul play and theif and a liar)

That should be a good start and it branches off from there ... Immortal Technique is by far the best artist in the entire industry right now. My opinion of course.

Also, that's a lot of damn Wii and DS games.

If you're willing to compromize that much why not just wait the inevitable price drop on your current-gen system of choice?

For the first time I feel like its the fall game season, too many games to play not enough time. I think that I will not be finishing brutal legend, sorry Shafer.

You should have bought the standard edition, it's almost no different and it would leave you enough for another game.

How'd you kill the Mausoleum guard?

I'm using the knight class and I've already beat the main part of the first level (not the tutorial level but the actual first level) and I've got the key to the mausoleum but I can't kill that damn knight that guards the outside. If I used a mage it'd be easy because I could keep a distance and use the fire spell but I'm a knight and I haven't been able to do the job yet. I know to block and evade backwards using roll but still when he stuns me with his shield strike and does his triple slash stab I either die or I am right near death. Got any tips for me? I've tried using the napalm and firebombs to no evail.

If you really beat the first two levels without dying once then you are the ultimate bad ass. Well ... depends on the class actually because the Royal makes the game to easy. So, if you aren't the royal then yeah you are the ultimate bad ass.

Anyway ... it's a really awesome game so far for me. Loving it. Also loving uncharted 2 as thats my goty so far along with killzone 2 & infamous as #2 & #3. I'd have to put Demons Souls just behind Infamous to this point. Good year for ps3 games.

I'm using a wanderer, but I'm not sure what the mausoleum guard is. I remember finding a red eyed knight in 1-1 and getting 1 shotted, but I just went back now that I have soul arrow and a fire spell and beat him in a couple hits. Phalanx was really easy and that big tower guard in 1-2 was pretty easy too. Just ran behind him and slashed his ankles til he fell.

Ok in the first main level (not the tutorial level but the palace level) you help out another knight who us surrounded by those skeleton demons. After killing those guys he gives you either a telescope or a mausoleum key. You can kill him and take the key if he gives you the telescope. There is a part towards the start where you come up those stairs (if you unlocked the part in the dungeon where the skeleton guys are that throw fire), you kill the first guard by dual wielding your weapon. You can go right where he was protecting ro continue forward. When you continue forward there is a guy with a crossbow and a guy with a staff you have to kill. Then there is a little shack on the corner of the castle and it starts the entry way to the mausoleum. In the distance you can see a mausoleum guard. I even tried having him chase me back out, double backing and opening the mausoleum (it's where the cement statue of the king is at ... think it has green eyes) but he still follows you into the mausoleum and tries to kill you.

Hope that refreshes your memory. Maybe I'll just come back to it after I either get some kind of magic, crossbow, bow and arrow or just get more powerful. I can't beat him at all ... not even using a cheap method.
