I don't even know what to think when quotes like this comes from band members. I feel like they don't know how this works. Not that I'm an insider, but half the time they don't know whether their talking about Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

Do bands really think they can just say it and make it so? I really hope it's not that easy. http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/07/u2-we-too-want-to-be-in-our-own-music-game/

But what do I know? AC/DC is a Wal-Mart exclusive. Anything goes.

The Who Sell Out is an incredible album. 1967, one of the great years of rock and or roll. History lesson!

I'm tired of all these band themed Rock Band's and rumors of them, and the hypocritical harmonix fanboys celebrate it every time.

Meanwhile, guitar hero van halen? That's the dumbest thing ever right harmonix fanboys? Fucking hypocrites.

Let's pretend this rumor is true, and HMX does make a single band game... HIGHLY DOUBTFUL, but we will pretend.

You still have a major flaw in your logic. Let's look at it on a "This band is better than that band" sliding scale, using the single band games (or rumors), and you tell me where the problem is ...

The Beatles > Pink Floyd > The Who > Metallica > U2 > Aerosmith > Van Halen > Nickelback

There is a little disagreement over where the specific band ranks in the top three (and some people would argue that Van Halen is worse than Nickelback), but it seems as if HMX would be only interested in the higher-quality bands, not just whoever will let them slap their songs into an out-of-date game engine...

Your logic's wrong because Metallica in their prime was better than all of them combined.

fine... I'll change it.

"There is a little disagreement over where the specific band ranks in the top three, except tmac it crazy enough to think Metallica was better than all of them. Too bad he is completely full of it, but he does like to make a ton of Joystiq comments, so I told him I'd throw him a bone... There is a little disagreement over where a specific band ranks in the top FOUR, but but it seems as if HMX would be only interested in the higher-quality bands, not just whoever will let them slap their songs into an out-of-date game engine...

@tmacairjordan87: Metallica in their prime was better then The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Who combined? That's utter insanity.

I do like some Metallica, but I wouldn't put them anywhere near any of those three bands.

Gib, I think your rankings there is perfect.

I know it's your opinion, but Metallica better than all of those bands listed? You're fucking insane and YOUR logic's wrong. Metallica did leave a legacy behind, but to put them on top of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and The Who is just wrong in many different aspects.

By the way, you give Tracy McGrady and Michael Jordan a bad fucking name.

I'm pretty sure I know what it's going to be.
February 14 2010 will be the 40th anniversary of their Leeds show.

A Live at Leeds - Track Pack, perhaps?
If that's the case, I hope that they'll recreate the venue. Should be pretty cool.

why is it that on every forum i go onto regarding thisa issue everybody alway say that they have enough song by the who. yet they don't ever say anything about pearl jam who have 2 full albums and a track pack i believe, and they don't even come close the who. besides a dedicared game whould be way better that the beatles because you would have a challenge especially on drums and bass and just thinks what they could do with the avatars of the band with there stage presence
