In addition to a probably-dead Guybrush, Trial marks the return of Stan, the fast-talking salesman from the original games! Ever the classy businessman, Stan appears to be selling souvenirs at Guybrush's trial.

Are these games actually funny or is it people forcing themselves to laugh because it has the Monkey Island name on it? I tried the demo of the original and was very disappointed. Def missing some good ole schafer humor.

I would have to agree. This is right up there with the original. The first episode wasn't so great, but it has gotten much better and funnier as the episodes move on.

I just played episode 3 on WiiWare; it seemed a bit shorter than previous episodes (or maybe I just didn't get stuck as much), but there were lots of funny parts (including the end credits)...

Will the plaid on Stan's blazer have that old Warner Brothers plaid effect, where the character just kind of moves across the static texture? If you'll notice, the texture doesn't seem to actually "wrap" around his form.
I can't decide whether that would just be an utter eyesore in 3D or if it would hold some quirky, visual humor. haha!

It looks like it. They somehow managed to do that effect in 3D back in Escape from Monkey Island.

Oh my gosh I can't wait! Every episode has been stellar so far. I'm not the biggest Stan fan, but I love the idea of the toy where you put facial hair on Guybrush. So funny.

I hope his jacket pattern still remains the same however he moves.
