I was thinking the same thing. Maybe after it's released, they can change it to something more bearable like a shout for help. Otherwise, my ears may be doomed.

Its just more stuff to appease the halo fan in us all. its just weird and forced, and I think it will ruin the atmosphere they worked so hard to create in the first game.

You do know that this is in multi-player, not single player, right? And before you say that it's taking time away from working on the single player, It's by two completely different teams, so it has absolutely no bearing on the story mode.

Call me crazy, but that looks fun.
Uncharted seemed like a game that MP wouldn't work for either, and that ended up awesome. So I'm going to give Bioshock the benefit of the doubt on that front and not just rip it for the sake of ripping it like seems to be popular these days.

Easily my most anticipated games of next year. Easily. I truely hope it lives up to the first one. Bioshock 1 was, as I quote Game Informer: "A masterpiece of the most epic proportions." A masterpiece indeed. Wonderful game that will surely have a marvelous sequel. Thank you 2K!

Straight up. If every game had a mute system as accessible as Halo 3's or CoD 4's that shit wouldn't be so bothersome. Seriously, in Halo 3 you can just choose an option from the voice settings menu and permanently mute EVERYBODY except friends/party/teammates. Even if you get annoying teammates muting them is effortless and quick. Every game should implement a similar "Instant Mute" feature.

The whole thing looks unnaturally stiff.
Oh well, will wait for the preview commentary this Thurs. As long as the SP is great, anything good coming from the MP is the extra gravy on the side.

Am I the only one that thought the screaming little girl was uncomfortable? I mean, it's almost like kidnapping. Yes I'm aware that the original Bioshock had screaming little sisters when you harvested them for adam, but when you put it in the context of a competitive environment like capture the flag, it's just creepy.
