In a new feature titled "Anatomy of a Screenshot," Game Informer dissects in-game screens and details the situations found within. The first title to receive the treatment is the recently revealed -- but long rumored -- Epic Mickey, from Warren Spector and Disney. The screen above details the upcoming Wii-exclusive title's heads-up display (HUD), showcasing Mickey's "persona" status, special items and details on the world around the classic Disney hero.
Also, it points out Mickey's "iconic" ears ... you know, in case you missed them.

Do evil and your appearance will change? What is this, Fable?
Doing evil doesn't change your appearance! Okay, maybe my eyes are a LITTLE yellow...but that's it, I swear

You type like you're 10, Rumors.
Anyway I don't get why they would analyze stupid crap this much. It reminds me of when that teaser trailer for Halo 3 came out and, for some reason, game magazines were picking it apart frame-by-frame as though there were hidden secrets in it. Of course, there weren't.

I think it's from a lack of new material. Plus, if it sells magazines...

Can't edit comments, but now I see that it's more explaining the HUD. The article made it seem as though they were trying to extrapolate gameplay mechanics from simple screenshots, which wouldn't be an entirely unheard-of phenomenon.

Is it just me, or does Rumors sound like he's...I don't know; 14?
Either way, he needs to stop jerking off and use two hands to type. It hurts my eyes to look at his posts.

Rumors48, who cares if Bradwart got laid or not. You're 16, I don't think you got laid so stop talking about Bradwart. So fucking immature.

I wasn't aware this was an argument. More like a conversation with a wall-it just bounces back what I say, with no meaningful contributions.

I'm not certain what is going on here, but did that kid just post his facebook page? I think that's tantamount to "let's take this outside," or perhaps more appropriately, "I'll see YOU at recess, dummy-head!"

I haven't gotten this issue yet, so you probably just haven't either. There's an ad for this issue in the Crackdown one, though. It's funny how it's very obviously Epic Mickey but they act as though it's very enigmatic.

I got my Epic Mickey issue last week. I was looking forward to it based on the concept art, but the in game screenshots completely ruined any enthusiasm I may have had for the project. It's nice that they got an exclusive though (a real one, not Playstation magazine's "Look, we have sketches of the layout of some Modern Warfare 2 maps, with sniper positions marked! What a scoop!" BS exclusive from this months issue).
If November comes around and you still don't have your Epic Mickey issue, I'd write them and ask what the delay is (your magazine may have been lost in the mail).

I was excited about this game until the screenshots started getting unleashed. After all that gorgeous concept art... why is this thing so ugly? Those environments look like a holdover from the Dreamcast era. The Wii can do so much more than this...
I'm hoping that these are just placeholder graphics while they hack out the physics and gameplay, but if that's the case, they might want to stop releasing these things until the game is ready for public viewing. What a disappointment.

This is shit! What was wrong with the old Mickey? I'm 13 okay and there is no excuse saying that the new generation of kids like "violence." THat is a load of crap, my friends. THis will DESTROY ME. Mickey mouse was my idol when i was 6,7,8,9 and when I was 11. Don't ruin this, Walt Disney would never ask for this.
