Nolan North imagines Hugh Jackman starring in Uncharted film

Who's going to play Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted movie? Well, don't expect Nolan North to reprise the role for the silver screen. In spite of his stellar performance in the games, North knows he's not big enough to headline a big budget film like Uncharted. "I've done film and television and I understand the reality of the business," North said on the OPM UK podcast.

The frontrunner for the role for Nathan appears to be X-Men star Hugh Jackman. "Jackman is who I'd like to see. I think the producers would like to see Jackman too, because he has that tough guy exterior," North explains. But, Jackman can bring more than just muscles to the character. "There's also a lot going on behind his eyes. A lot of emotion and sensitivity on that brusque exterior, and he has great comic timing."

Oh, and he can sing and dance, too. Just in case we needed a musical featuring Nate and the gang.

No not Jackoffman. I hate ego actors. Give just north ot fillion. This game was created with a low profile and has earned its high profile. Give us unkowen actors as they will give a raw performance. High profile actors just F#$K things up. I cant see wolverine as drake.
I Aussie and as good as jackman is, he just wont pull this movie off. he'll just pull himself off, im so good, im so good im Jackoffman.

I would also like Nathan Fillion to star in this, but it won't happen. Hugh Jackman will probably get the role, and he would do a good job too.

David Boreanaz from Bones is a PERFECT fit for Nathan Drake. Just needs the stubble and clothes!

Ryan Reynolds. I know we've been bombarded by his films lately, but he can do the physical stuff, has the looks, and can get the attitude.

yikes, the only reason they should use Hugh Jackman is to appeal to a wider audience, but Nathan Fillion is the man for this part.

I dunno about Jackman. He doesn't seem to fit but after researching Nathan Fillion since I know NOTHING about that guy, yea, he seems to fit, A LOT. The look, the charm, the charisma. I can see Nate, uhh, all over him. Lmao!! No homo included in that statement. Lol.

The movie comes out in 2012 and stars Nicholas Cage. Around the world, fans of Uncharted set in motion a series of events that cause the end of the world.

Hey on another case related note. Anyone else think that Bruce Campbell would make a great Sully?

This will be the movie to send Fillion over the top. I can't help but put Fillion in the role as I'm playing Uncharted 2. I will slit my wrists if Jackman gets another dumbass role completely unsuited for him. He's bloody Australian for crisakes! Drake is American. It'd be like Nicole Kidman playing Marilyn Monroe. There is no other choice IMO.

From the first moment I saw/heard Sully, I've thought of him as Bruce Campbell. Not 100% sure why.

While I'm picturing that, Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice, in which Bruce co-stars) would actually pull off a fine Nathan Drake.

I think he's the only person for the role solely because when I played the game for the first time, I was convinced it was him. He looks like him, has the same sense of humour and the same mannerisms!!! If you agree then please sign the petition. You do need a Twitter account though.
