Warhammer Online jumps to the Mac realm, free for current subscribers

According to a recent Mythic Entertainment press release, the MMO is now available on the Mac platform, and can be digitally purchased from GameTreeOnline for $19.95. Current subscribers to the PC version of the game can get the Mac version for free on the official WAR site. If you're apprehensive about using your sleek multimedia machine to play video games, you can also download a free, 10-day trial of the game. You might just enjoy it as much as you enjoy belittling John Hodgman.

Uh oh, the dreaded "Mac" word on Joystiq. This outta bring out the mouth breathers. It's cute how they come here to troll between bouts of masturbation.
Anyway, I also tried out the beta WAR client for Mac recently. It ran like crap. EVE runs great, LOTRO runs great (through CrossOver), but WAR runs like total shite. But from what I have heard about the game, it sounds like par for the course.

Hmm... Okay, worth a shot I guess. Always wanted to try this out but could never bring myself to spend enough time in Windows to install it. I'm gonna get downvoted now...
But if it runs like most other PC to Mac ports, I'm out.
