So here we were, thinking about how odd it was that a demo for Painkiller: Resurrection stealthily released onto the intertron last week after hearing nothing about the game for, oh, like six months, when all of a sudden we noticed that the full game is also now available. In fact, the release was so secretive, even the game's official site doesn't know you can't pre-order it anymore.
You can grab it for yourself on Steam for $29.99 right now or if you want to save $10 -- and don't mind a disc case taking up space on your shelf -- you can grab it for $19.99 from Amazon.

Wow that headline caught me off guard and had me cracking up haha.
But wow, 10 dollars for a physical disc? Crazy.

Not nearly as good as the original, I'd actually say it was pretty bad. It's not developed by the same people so it's pretty much no surprise. Save your money. It is at least better than Dreamkiller though if your dying for this type of game.

oh wow not bad at all, only 20 bucks. I played the other painkiller game and thought it was pretty good, maybe I'll give this a go.

At least they acknowledged that this game needed a budget price. $20-30 might still be too much though

What is with Steam and the anti-sales lately? Last month a friend of mine came to visit and I wanted to buy him a copy of GTR Evolution so we could get some good racing in. Was going to be lazy and buy it off of Steam but they wanted $30 when I bought it at Best Buy a year or two ago for $20. Found it at PC hating Gamespot of all places for $10. Don't support digital distribution when they don't pass the savings on to you!
