Not for lack of trying. Microsoft forces them to charge for the patches, so instead they are going to group them all together so at least you are getting good value for your money.

But yeah, always buy Valve games on PC :P

I really hope that the TF2 community continues to grow. It is one of the funnest most enjoyable multiplayer games EVER.

Valve is dominant in the PC industry. Hell, they stood up the PS3, in favor of PC (and 360). I mean, they really, truly are a PC developer, and it's nice to see them stick to their roots... unlike some people.

Damnit, Joystiq! I went and bought this, only to be reminded 15 minutes later that I already have it on 360 in The Orange Box. Oh well, at least it's only £2.49 (Gotta love that $=£ pricing).

I'm incredibly pissed at Valve now.

I was typing in my credit card number, and I was finally done(6 seconds after clicking the ad that loaded up 2 seconds before that), hit next, and the price was back up to $19.99.
