This is not worthy of 3 galleries.

The symbol "less than" is an HTML tag. Don't use it or your comment won't appear again.

Guessing prices:
Connect 4: $0.99
Battleship: $2.99
Monopoly: $4.99
MR_COW @ Oct 30th 2009 12:46AM
It better not be like Yahtzee, where you pay $5 and still get ads, while being an incredibly unstable program.
shey @ Oct 30th 2009 1:09AM
Monopoly, Great! Give me another reason to throw my iPhone at a wall...
Outrager @ Oct 30th 2009 1:03AM
EA already have a version of Monopoly up on the app store. It's the "World Edition" and looking at the gallery it seems like the same game.
MarkyB86 @ Oct 30th 2009 1:08AM
Can't go to grandma's and play these anymore?

Can't wait for some Crysis spin-off to hit the IPhone.
Seriously, I'm surprised EA hasn't ported the flash 2D version of Mirror's Edge to it.
Stevetrop @ Oct 30th 2009 1:34AM
You sunk my battleship
Version 1.0 @ Oct 30th 2009 4:23AM

Too bad there are already hundreds of free versions of Connect 4 on the App Store already.
WREturns [Planeteer I Power of Fucking Peter Moore's Mother] @ Oct 30th 2009 12:09PM

That Battleship looks terrible compared to the one made by Gameloft for the clickwheel iPods. That one was great fun with multiplayer, special weapons, a "story" mode with special maps, and several sets of rules to play with.
Companies should be developing original ideas for platforms that are different from everything else, not these board game adaptions.
JeezWhiz87 @ Oct 30th 2009 9:35AM
lol, Monopoly on the App store. This article contained 100% of my daily value for irony. Thanks Joystiq!
BigD145 @ Oct 30th 2009 12:52PM
Proof that the iPhone is not a gaming platform.
Coogan @ Oct 30th 2009 2:10PM
If Monopoly Classic is anything like the version they have on the App Store right now then I will be skipping it. The World version they have on there cheats and the game is rigged.
I have played it too much to know. You may choose to play against 3 AI opponents but in reality you are playing against one opponent with 3 heads. They will make dumb, obvious deals to complete monopolies. Then they wait til you have the chance to land in it before they build hotels. Of course they'll somehow magically avoid landing in anything you own. I once owned a whole side of the board with hotels on it and the AI would conveniently land in the 2-3 spaces that I didn't own (the utility, the transportation, and the community chest/chance square)
There are numerous complaints in the App store review and so far nothing has been done.
