Reminder: Champions Online is free to play this weekend
We know you guys have the memory of a ... well, whatever the polar opposite of an elephant is in regards to memory. (A fruit fly?) So, we thought we'd remind you that Cryptic's made its superheroic MMO Champions Online free to play this Halloween weekend in an attempt to promote the game's spooky pseudo-expansion, Blood Moon.
You can download it for free at 1PM EST today, then play it to your heart's content -- or November 2. You know, whichever comes first.

I would put the opposite of an elephant as a flower... as its delicate and smells nice...
or an elephant with a goatee...
Or a palette swapped elephant with a hat with a backwards E on it...

What's with those wolf looking things in the background. Are they enemies? What is this game about again?

It's a game about fighting the same monsters/guys in different instances that max out at about 50-100 players. With the possibility of gimping your guy if you don't pick abilities like regen and that spore DoT one that also regens.
Still fun to play and make heros for a while.

Oh, Joystiq! You know that Bloodmoon was a Morrowind expansion! You almost fooled me there.

You'd think that they'd at least let you download it a little earlier, so you wouldn't have to spend half the free weekend just downloading the damn game
