I've got another confession to make.
I'm your fool.
Everyone's got their chains to break
Holdin' you.
Were you born to resist or be abused?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.......

For my real comment. The 4 foos songs are all great, but I really hope this is the last Foo Fighter pack for a long time. Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters both have over 25+ songs, and theres more Pearl Jam live tracks rumored too. No thank you, there's other bands.

The Nirvana songs are great. Not the "Big Three" that everyone wants, but nice to see some more Bleach.

I find it interesting that I keep getting their songs in Rock Band. I don't own a single Foo Fighters album and yet I know more of the songs than I would have thought.

There is a whole lot of Foo Fighters, but they're kind of an awesome band. I can't lie, I'm glad to finally get The Pretender. My daughter loves that song. And Best of You...don't even get me started.

At the same time, I'm sure we could all name a dozen bands with great songs that are being overlooked. I guess that's life.

It's not their fault that the Foo Fighters is a good band. Can't say the same for Pearl Jam after the Ten album, though.

Still waiting for Long Road to Ruin. Rock Band 3 maybe?

Would those "big three" be Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium, and Come as You Are?

I know those are the ones I'm holding out for. I keep making the joke that the only ones on Rock Band are the ones I skip when listening to their albums.

"Best of You" is one of my favorite Foo Fighters songs, I was disappointed that GH Van Halen got it first considering the sub-par quality (even for a Guitar Hero game). A good band can have their whole catalog on the game for all I care. Why the hell is GH getting more Kiss and we have to wait on the RB end, they need their own RB title, or at least an extensive pack (think Iron Maiden). Yeah, the BIG THREE Nirvana songs are annoying and why the hell did GH have to get it first! RB needs to get the BIG 3, hopefully in RB3 (hehe coincidence? I think not.) and get off of this grunge kick. Nothing against the Foo Fighters, but enough already with them, Pearl Jam, etc. More Offspring wouldn't be bad. Bad Religion, Pennywise, Bullet for my Valentine, or one up GH again and do a Misfits pack.

@Halfkie

You forgot to mention the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who also have around 20 songs in the game.

I wouldn't turn my nose up at the full Californication album, though.

I like Foo Fighters as much as the next guy, but really? Let's try to get some bands that *don't* have an entire album and then some already in the store.

And what's up with RBN? I haven't heard anything out of that camp lately.

Dave Grohl and Joan Jett are connected through Pat Smear. Dave and Pat played together in both Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, and Joan Jett produced The Germs' only full-length, (GI). Pat Smear was the guitar player for the Germs, for those of you who may not know.

Also, two years ago Joan Jett played with Motörhead and Alice Cooper. And Lemmy from Motörhead sang on a Dave Grohl album which came out 5 years ago.

I'm not a music buff. I just use Wikipedia.

@Troy Powers,

Norton rules

@Foo Fighters haters,

Yeah, right now a lot of FF songs are popping up... just like Rush a year ago.
Seems like a trend to me. If they are working on various bands and some offer deals and tracks faster than others... it stands to reason that a lot of tracks from each band would end up for sale at or around the same time.
Of course, I am speculating and could be entirely wrong. they could just be posting FF songs just to piss YOU off. It seems to be working too.

It's really just that there's so much of it. We'd be annoyed if it was any band getting so much more attention than the others. One of the big selling points of Rock Band is the variety, you don't really get that by having 30 songs by the same artist.

I don't think it's really fair to call them "Foo Fighters Haters" just cause they're complaining about how much Foo Fighters there is, I mean they have more tracks in the game than anyone else. I just think 24 tracks for one band is alot unless they're gonna put out a Beatles-style game. I actually like the Foo Fighters, they're not my favorite band but I do love The Colour and The Shape and bought the full album about a year or however many months ago it was. It's just with all these track packs every week people are hoping to see artists new to the series.

I for one am personally hoping for more Radiohead seeing as if you ask most Radiohead fans they'd probably tell you they hate or are ambivalent to Creep and that while My Iron Lung was a nice step in the right direction, we're still hoping to see some OK Computer stuff.

With the release of L:RB we'll have the same number of Foo Fighters songs in RB as GH:VH has Van Halen. Wish we would have got Generator though.

I don't get it.

Why are people complaining about more songs for download?

If it's a band you don't like, don't download it, no one's forcing you, and it's not like they had to cancel other songs to get these out there.

I thought the "dream" was for almost all songs to be available on one platform. Why would you guys be complaining about that?

Yes it does. By taking time to chart those 3 Foo songs, they could have spent that time on more varied artists.

I'm a black man that loves me some Foo Fighters... I've been waiting for these two songs for a while. They are probably my two favorite Foo Fighter songs. Don't get me wrong, My Hero is good but mostly because of its movie reference and I fell in love with Everlong when I played it on Rock Band 2, but I loved these two for a long time. When I finally saw the two songs on Tap Tap 3 (for the iPhone), I knew there was hope. Thank you Rock Band for giving me all the Foo Fighters I want/need....

I can't tell you how I've been waiting to get a Greatest Hits CD because their good songs are on so many different albums. I'm still sad I don't see DOA but can you say Pre-ordered.... http://www.amazon.com/Greatest-Hits-Foo-Fighters/dp/B002OFWG7E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1256926101&sr=8-3

The Foo Fighters are fantastic and am really pleased that the Best of You is finally on there. They definetly need more Radiohead though, Paranoid Android, 2+2=5, There There, Climbing up the Walls, The Bends, Street Spirit, High and Dry etc. I could just go on and on and I bet the number of downloads would be huge.
