Yay for the new HUD, but boooooooooooooo for limited ammo. That was one thing I _really_ _really_ like about Mass Effect after playing Fallout 3: no ammo management.

I guess you could call it that. I look at it as: less micro-managing and time in the menu system = less annoyance + more gameplay/story = more fun.

What do you mean dumbing down? ME had no ammo regernation...I wouldn't call that dumbing down.

Seriously.

I didn't care for the combat in ME1 at all, and if I had to deal with ammo management, I'm not sure I would have kept playing. Which would have been a shame, because the story/dialogue aspect was really neat.

Theres still no Ammo, those are just heatsinks to start shooting again when it Overheats.

@Steam:Lennoko| Whats PC Gaming?

I don't know that you're seeing what I'm seeing. If you look, there's a number at the bottom-left corner of the screen that decreases every time the player reloads his weapon.

Now, I remember them saying that the new "class" of weapon will have limited ammo, but it sounded like it was only going to be for special weapons like rocket-launchers or plasma cannons or something. But that video sure does make it look like all weapons will have limited ammo.

Ummmm, no one seems to be talking about the zombie like creatures. Almost seems a little like Dead Space meets Resident Evil meets Mass Effect.

I wonder what the deal is with them?

For a guy with a Shepard avatar, you don't seem to have played much Mass Effect.

They're called husks and they were in ME1.

I have the avatar because he looks like me. My fiance thought that I made the default Shepard in my image.

But I did play the game.....over what, 2.5 or 3 years ago now, and I finished it, but I did not go go through all the dialog and uncover everyone's back story, nor did I go do all the side quests.

The problem is, the husks are like one of the first enemies you encoutner and you come accross them a bit during the game.

But hey, its alright.

it looks very good but, didnt you notice? theres ammo now one of the things that i loved about the first mass effect is that you can never get into a situation that you dont have ammo and your trying to kill people with youre fists,in mass effect the weapons are oveheating and you can always take the weapon back and shoot, now theres ammo.........i think it will ruin the game

Combat doesn't seem to have changed much... Didn't they say they were going to revamp the system?

I remember fighting a lot of robots and whatnot, but I don't remember the husks.

Are they robots using organic parts or something?

I guess I need to buy and play through again. The game was really fun with a cool story, but the loading times frustrated me. Definitely excited for this one now that they have experience working with the xbox.

Man I love Bioware so much. But I am not a fan of the 360, however if I can get a great deal I might have to purchase cause a game this great cannot be passed on.
