I think these games are fun, they are a nice break from killing aliens, or Nazis. I enjoy playing the Lego games (especially the Star Wars ones) because of the replay value and overall fun I have, also the humor is alright, gets some laughs. I hope this one is right for me, I played the Batman one, which I disliked, and I've never played the first Lego Indiana Jones. I think, like all the others, its worth a rent.

Yes, these types of games bring people together to play. This is a good thing, and the games them selfs are great in that they have a cohesive story. Also not to mention they are some of the only series that have come out based on the movie licenses of these caliber, that have also been good for the license. I remember Indiana Jones for the NES. Now speak of horrors. But I think in general that I'm still having problems. Heres a industry that started out making toys for children and ended up making games for adults. Because I think that we would all agree that, as a whole video games are now officially a medium adults as well as children. With that understood, how do we over 18 types justify another walk down Lego lane? It was fun at first, now I'm starting to yawn a little bit.

@Curtis

They are especially good for parents and their children. I really believe that's what the Lego game franchise has put out. Good solid gaming for all ages.

@ Cowboy Curtis
I see what you mean, but allow me to quote Randy Pitchford;
"Games should be fun, why are we changing that?"
@Samuel Vimes
I think you deserve a raise in your profession of Awesomeonitrig- erm, Coolstrology?
Let's just say I agree with you and are getting a plus one.

I agree with you. I liked the Star Wars and first Indiana Jones lego games, I did dislike the batman one. I got rid of it the same day i got it. The first Indiana Jones game was really good though, you should rent it some time.

They are great couch co-op games. They're not intense or anything and you can have a good time playing through them without thinking too hard or getting frustrated or anything. It's a nice distraction.

Keep'em coming. I think a Lego Ghostbusters game would be awesome.

Wow. Ghostbusters does indeed seem like a fitting franchise to be adapted into a Lego game. Kudos. I'm actually a little disappointed in myself that the idea's never occurred to me! haha

@ Shadowbender

...except that they'll probably break it up into 2 or 3 games, just like they have with LEGO Indy (and LEGO Star Wars before that).

Give us all seven books/movies in one game FFS!

as an avid former lego fan, let me say, FUCK THESE LEGO GAMES. Until these clowns stop cranking out these games and not putting any effort into them, I'm fucking done. Star wars had online multiplayer, but since then, not a single one of them has had it. They're lazy and i'm not giving them any more money until they give me something more in return.

With that said, Lego Lord of the Rings would be the most epic lego game ever.

So because a game doesn't have online multiplayer, which would be useless to you in 5-10 years if you wanted to play the game again, you're turning up your nose to the Lego games? Maybe you should make an effort to make real friends so that you could play multiplayer locally. Something that you'll still be able to do once the online servers go down.

So what would they do here that they didn't do in the first run? Besides Crystal Skull *shudder* everything else would just be a rehash. Doesn't really seem worth it... But yes, the first one is good fun!

Retelling of the original 3 movies - none of the levels from the first game are repeated here. KOTCS will be added in. And there is a level builder. I think if you liked the 1st one you'll like the 2nd one.

Shame LEGO would never go for the idea, because a lot of AFOL's
(adult fans of LEGO) use LEGO to create war scenes and vehicles,
and there are a lot more of them than you might think.

Huh? The first game already went thru the whole trilogy. What's the point of this second one, just for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?

Anybody want to see a Lego Star Trek? I think it would be great, and the character potential is huge.
