Can someone please explain how the AO rating works? I'm from the UK and we only have age restricted things, (12, 15, 18) and if something is too much for 18, it just doesn't happen.

Games like Gears 2, Hitman, Dead Rising are all 18s.

This game was already old and dated when it came out back in 2007, who thought it would be a good idea to re-release this now?

This is kinda stupid. There's already a MATURE rating that's only for adults. Why do they need a AO rating? I think that's really stupid. Whatever.

AO means you game is forbidden from being released on all systems and 90 percent of the stores that sell games. Also you can't have commercials or magazine/newspaper ads. You can only sell it online through DD or through the company website for PC/Mac etc only. 18 in the UK means for ages 18 and up and for some STUPID ASS reason Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo think adults in America should never be allowed to play games with an 18 and up rating and every other country adults can play games with a rating for them.
