Sims 3 price dropped to $30 for one day only
19
The streak of brief yet impossibly frugal discounts continues! Until the end of the day, EA is selling The Sims 3 for the price of $29.99 -- a full twenty bucks off the standard cost of the game. Maxis' life simulators tend to retain their launch price long after hitting store shelves, so if you want to grab the title on the cheap, today might be your only chance for quite some time. Act quickly, though! We're losing daylight.

The US was the first to have the "almighty dollar" because it is the one nation under God... which is really all that matters right?

I didn't think you guys had games in Australia. You know, cause you ban them all.

I seriously doubt you'll spend money it. We as humans just want it free.

Yeah, theres been tonnes of times when ive downloaded an album 'to try it out' and said i would buy it, ive only bought one album after hearing it.
It sounds like a good idea but when you actually go to the store you wont buy it.

After school, I am going out to buy Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box for the PC after I torrented it and tried it out, even though I beat most of the game. Hell, its only $10 at Fry's!
Its the first game Criterion ported to the PC and I want to thank them and reward them for doing so, not pirating it. I am glad they as a console developer ported a game to the PC when so many don't give a shit about it. Now if they would only bring Big Surf Island and other DLC to it that the console versions have.
The PC platform is hurting, and I am doing my part to help it, I only torrent games to try them out and buy them if I like them. If I don't, I delete it. I did pirate games as a teen but now with a job, I buy my PC games.
I was mistaken, I saw the used version of the Collector's Edition for $42, not new. The lowest price for new is about $52 from GoGamer, who I trust and bought from before.

And only £40 in the UK! BARGAIN! Oh wait, that's the same as launch day price. For you Americans, that's $66.00. Blow me EA.

I always hold out on buying new Sims because I know they'll just release a complete pack for $20 eventually but then I just never buy them. I still "biding my time" to get Sims 2.

It's not a bad game. But it is best to wait for the packages that include some add ons.
