I still want those 'VR' chairs. The ones where you're IN the game.

Somehow, I think GTA would be the most used title.

These interviews are terrible. The 10 questions are ridiculously broad and completely unrelated to each other. Why does Joystiq feel the need to reprint them in their entirety each week?

Kick, punch, it's all in your mind!

PaRappa was one of the most memorable games from that era. Love it.

"Reducing the volume of games that involve hurting people with knives and guns" is the one problem with game development you'd fix? Really?

I mean, I LOVED PaRappa and Lammy, but sometimes you want to sit down with your buddies and shoot each other in the face. It's not something to be shunned.

It's a valid opinion, isn't it?

Now if, say, they interviewed Cliffy B and he said that, I could see there'd be a problem.

By the way I agree with him - not that we shouldn't have games where you kill people, but that it would be good if there was a bit more balance with other types of games. Of course, the challenge is in finding things that you can play that way and are still fun (music games yes... 'Wii family games' not so much... there's also puzzle games, racing games, sports games, adventure/similar games like Phoenix Wright, etc). Looking at the top of my Wii game pile, 6/10 games consist largely of killing people/things. (Though you might give Little King's Story a pass here? I dunno.) All 6 are pretty good, mind you.

I'm sure if you work the statistics then 'killing people' games are a small minority of published games already, but they seem to be a pretty large proportion of top quality blockbusters.

Thanks again for sharing these brief interviews. Still like this series. I wonder how long the AIAS will run this?
