Brick Walls make me think of Seinfeld, not Springer. "What's the deal with RTS'?!"

"What's this, Command & Conquer 3? You conquered it twice already, and you have to try again, what's the deal with that?"

Finished Brutal Legend this weekend, enjoyed it. The story was very good, the characters engaging and likable, yes the RTS part felt a bit shoehorned, but once you got the hang of it, it was not too bad.
But I have no inkling for the MP modes, but maybe it's just me.

I agree. Singe player is great, but I had no desire to play this online.

Yeah, it's a damn shame, but Brutal Legend was disappointing for me because I love Schafer's sense of humor and the worlds he creates, but... blargh, those "not an RTS" battles just felt completely half-assed. I'm not even an RTS enthusiast by the kindest measure, but I'd have killed for a top-down control scheme on some of those fights.
That said, the world was fantastic, the story started out great (kind of stumbled near the end, the whole thing with Eddie's t-shirt was sort of out of the left field), the characters were fucking amazing, and the idea of roping in all those rock personalities for one game celebrating the glory of metal... well damn, what more do you want?
...other than half-decent RTS control schemes, I mean.

Multiplayer co-op on the other hand. That might have been "face melting" (amazing).

I really like those Googleâ„¢ AdSpace ads you have running every few minutes during the video, and keep thankfully keep coming back, even after I mistakenly hit the corner 'x' in my spastic excited effort to READ MORE advertising... so rad! Keep it up! Moar ads in the videos! On the top! On the side! Lookout! So cool!

Yeah, these ads don't make me buy more products, but rather watch fewer videos, especially when you consider that most of the videos are basically ads themselves.
I can't wait until the Internet 3.0 when we get to watch ads before we watch ads before we ads.

I enjoyed Brutal Legend immensely.
The story was very short and i thought the story would have kept going after...
(SPOILER)
...you started to fight the tainted coil head on.
End Spoiler

Anyone else feel that video should have been 30 seconds longer?

I just finished the single player campaign tonight and I really enjoyed the game. I wish it had been another 2 - 3 hours longer for the campaign but its good to leave you wanting more. Unfortunately I really don't feel like playing it online, but if Tim says its worth while I really should force myself to give it a go.
After all I was just starting to get the not and RTS controls down right when the game ended perhaps a little dueling action would be more fun than I am imagining.
DECAPITATION!

At least he took the initiative to add a sexy lady made of money to the, erm... well, the ad. I sometimes find myself flustered just imagining about naked women made of sweet, sweet cash -- and to think, I didn't need to look any further than right here on Joystiq to make my sick delusions come to life! Thank you soulless spambot, thank you so much!

The guy who was using Ironheade should have used the fire baron spam. He would have won the match in about 4 min. It would also show them how cheap it is and that is why 90% or more people online play as ironheade so they should FIX it and also the connect issues.
