They call it...Halo.
KingOfGods @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:26AM
I like that they added Avatar awards
Rhamsey @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:00AM
Agreed, also, anyone want to help me get the endure achievement? Only one I'm missing, and not having one of them is driving me crazy.
baby sea tuna @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:07AM
How do you get it?
The Dark Wayne [Planeteer: Power of the Batusi] @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:19AM
ill help you rhamsey if you help me with Deja Vu. Gamertag's Mandalorian63. And Tuna, endure is the vidmaster achievement for surviving until the 5th set on heroic in firefight.
Nebenator @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:30AM

baby sea tuna @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:40AM

Chromekreeper @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:27AM
this is so awesome it could even kick chuck norris's ass
LegendaryRedass @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:07AM
Whoa whoa whoa, let's not get crazy here.
BIGGEN (LIVE-PSN: BIGGEN1103) @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:30AM
it is pretty cool. i synced it up with my cheevos and all these avatar items started going "kaplook." it was satisfying to get something for playing these games i really don't even like that much. lol
-Vexx- @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:31AM
.......Ok?
Scruss @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:35AM
I got into this a few days ago, I wasn't impressed. I know that not all content has been added, but still. There isn't anything in waypoint that you can't view via your guide button or the games section.
BIGGEN (LIVE-PSN: BIGGEN1103) @ Nov 3rd 2009 12:19PM
i still have people on my friend list who play all halo, all the time. some halo 2 players still. i think this is for them quite honestly. i don't know how they play these games that much, but to each their own i guess.
whylekat @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:37AM
I love halo and all the games it has produced. But I can pretty much gaurentee I'm never going to use this Waypoint at all.
WINterfang ( Now with the power to piss you off ) @ Nov 3rd 2009 2:28PM
wanna bet?
whylekat @ Nov 3rd 2009 3:45PM
Well sure! I've always considered myself a gamblin' man.. What's on the table?
DiamondXP @ Nov 3rd 2009 9:49AM
I think that the Halo Waypoint is awesome got a slew of Avatar goodies just for playing in the past and hitting some milestones. Very Cool! My Fav is the 343 Guilty Spark accessory.
Dave @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:07AM
Got to check this out with the Dashboard Preview. Went in just to check it out...wasn't really all that interested. The Avatar Rewards caught my eye right away, and they're actually pretty nice. Especially cool to have the Guilty Spark Accessory to fly around my Avatar (just because I know no one else in my friends list has it...lol).
It's a brilliant piece of marketing, imo. Every acheivement whore is going to be checking this out trying to figure out what they're missing to get these extra ranks. It's making me want to go back and play through some of these campaigns to pick up the few I'm missing to grab some new rewards.
Looking forward to seeing if Legends is as entertaining as it could be. That's honestly the only thing I've seen so far that would make me keep coming back (once I finish my rewards of course).
Mazrael @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:08AM
Not tried it yet, though I have the facebook/Last.FM preview on my other 360.. don't want to download til it goes live, to keep all my drm on my new machine (I already shifted it all)
baby sea tuna @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:10AM
I'm hoping this is what it will take to finally get me back into Halo Wars. I liked it and all but it came out around the same time as RE5 and I got hella addicted to that and completely neglected to finish HW. Now if I could only remember how to play it...
TachiFoxy @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:19AM
Har. Got the preview but no Halo Waypoint. Screw Germany. >.
ChomskyKnows @ Nov 3rd 2009 10:41AM
everyone should watch the IGN Halo thing by Ryan Geddes...funny shit there...
edgore @ Nov 3rd 2009 11:16AM
Wait, wait, wait. I haven't been following this. Louis Wu? Are they mashing up their ring-shaped worlds?
edgore @ Nov 3rd 2009 11:17AM
Wait, wait, wait. I haven't been following this realy before now. Louis Wu? Are they mashing up their ring-shaped worlds?
LameLefty @ Nov 3rd 2009 1:55PM
Louis Wu, huh? I wonder what Larry Niven thinks about that?
343 Guilty Fart @ Nov 3rd 2009 2:24PM
Well, if you decide to check out Waypoint when it goes live and read the article on Louis Wu you'd find out why he chose that name.
ebeckins @ Nov 3rd 2009 4:10PM
What if you despise all things halo.Crappy waypoint better be able to removed.Seeing halo all the time on my dashboard would make me consider a ps3.
Killerrin @ Nov 3rd 2009 8:50PM

Spike (GT: SitriStahl) @ Nov 3rd 2009 4:41PM
