That's my thinking too. I'm thinking about getting this one because while I have a 60gb launch model, I like that this has lower power consumption and I think I've read it's not as loud too.

Not going to a Black Friday event again. People are disgusting and it's scary to think of what they'd do if there was an actual crisis occurring.

Here's a deal: Pay about $50 for a 500GB 2.5" SATA drive. 8D

Probably might happen at places like Fry's. But not anywhere else.

yeah mine was $90 but that was six or seven months ago off of tigerdirect.

Even though my 80GB (motorstorm bundle...now w/ 500GB) is still running fine, I feel complelled to get a new PS3 just incase something happens. I have fixed the ylod for three friends now, and the fix seems to be needed ever other month or so.

Can't have a cheaper PS3 without a more expensive version with a larger HDD. I'll consider this one when the holidays come round.
