Well I've always liked the idea of this turntable more then the DJ Hero one, but if the gameplay and the setlist isn't there, then there's no point. If they're both really really good, and this is actually affordably priced like I think it will be, then I'll end up getting both on the cheap through eBay or something.

i like this "turntable" and the "highway" of notes in DJ hero, from the short gameplay footage the "highway" did not look appealing but i might change my mind when i see more gameplay, but honestly i don't think i will pick up the first gen DJ games, i will wait for a Rock band like competitor to come out before i go spending money

"So now you're up on everything related to Scratch: The Ultimate DJ."

Ummmm...except the game.

I really, really tried to hold out for this game, but DJ Hero is droppin' the PHAT beats. These guys haven't even shown us what the game will look or sound like.

I wasn't so sure about this game originally, but given that I love chopping up lettuce and cutting tomatoes Mixmaster Mike has convinced me that this could be a dream come true!

@Troy

*pretty

Precisely why someone shouldn't cry foul when one band isn't included in the trailers for a game of which we've all admittedly seen so little. On the other hand, hip-hop is a movement that was started by the turntable: it's the first of the elements, so you cannot separate them from one another.

lol...seriously tho, hear me out....a game with a naked lady peripheral/controller, with buttons on obvious "hot spots"...you'd have to press them in rhythm to a funky porn-music soundtrack that varies in speeds/difficulties...it would build skills that transfers over to any porn setup

See, I have a completely different idea for a "Wii Fit" game. You have to pump iron to get a robotic real doll to suck you off. The harder you push yourself, the harder she works it.

You get ripped and have a great time.

This is great for anyone. Even if you have no problem getting real girls. You will have trouble getting them to participate with your "motivational" workouts on a regular basis.

I would never purchase DJ Hero when this game is gonna be out there. And I'm probably the biggest Jay-Z fan to visit this site. I don't understand why everyone else seems to look at these two games opposite of how I do.

People called DJ Hero a Beatmania clone, they obviously hadn't heard of Scratch.

The only thing Numark is and has been at the forefront of is the line to kiss my ass.

Technics SL-1200. Accept no substitutes.

Also, Numark is the company that killed Alesis before they could make the ION rack and also the company who f*cked up AKAI's MPC line with the MPC5K.

Numark is the second biggest blight upon the music industry after the RIAA.

One thing I give them a lot of credit for just looking at the hardware...the damn turntable actually has resistance!

I hate the turntable in DJ Hero, as when I try to scratch I feel like it's going to go flying out of my hand.

Fuck, haven't you people played enough rhythm games with shitty bands like Metallica and No Doubt? Apparently not. Let's please see something new here.

One thing's for sure: there's a yawning gulf between turntables for DJ use and turntables for hifi sound reproduction. I'm more familiar with the latter, so the Numark (and, frankly, the Technics, too) made me start.

I think we need a Stereo Hero game.
