Thor and Captain America games due in 2011

It wasn't clear when Sega would be bringing its previously announced Thor and Captain America games to market, though we assumed they'd arrive alongside the films starring the iconic characters. Marvel has confirmed our suspicions in an earnings report this morning, saying that Thor and Cap will come to consoles in May and July of 2011 respectively, the same points they're set to appear on the big screen.

Since we know practically nothing about these games, we decided that, in true internet fashion, this would be the absolute best time to pick which one is better. Excelsior!

The bigger issue is who's going to be working on the games. They need to start investing in A-List talent for these games. Superheroes deserve better.

I'm for Thor. I feel like they're both ridiculous superheroes, but Captain America, IMO, is really outdated.

We've already had a Captain America game.

Well, we had a lot of shitty Batman games and look how that turned out.

I love steve rogers, maybe a co-op game where the second player gets to play as bucky? hahahaha

But i voted for thor, I can just imagine fighting against gods and huge mystical beings.

I'm going with Captain America. Not much of a fan, but the discus/shield could present some awesome dynamics. Dynamics you can use against Hydra and/or Nazis. I mean, Thor's capacity an powers have potential, but throwing a stars and stripes shield into a Nazi's face is sadly unexplored as a game mechanic, unlike shooting lightening/pounding people upside the head with a blunt object.
