Auditorium flowing to XBLA, PSN and PSP next year
We haven't heard anything about Cipher Prime's plans to port its hypnotic musical puzzler, Auditorium, since the studio won a publishing contract in the 2BeeGames competition back in July. Today, a press release from newly named publisher Zoo Games revealed a few details about the title's console destinations: It's coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PSN, both as a PS3 and PSP download "early next year."
For those who want to know what the soothing buzz is all about, you can check out Auditorium for free on the 2BeeGames site. For those who can't access that site for some reason, just turn on some classical music, go turn on the nearest water faucet, and try to redirect the stream with your hands.

Huh, never would of thought it would make it this far. It's a good game, but I don't know if it's really XBLA or PSP ready. It gets kinda dull after the first stage.

I played through the three free chapters awhile back, and it wasn't really until the third chapter that I got an appreciation for the complexity that's possible with the game, and the real beauty of it all.

It is great to see great little indy projects like this make it into a more profitable market.
I wonder if people will buy it.

I can guarantee you I'll be buying a copy on PS3. I'm ecstatic to see it make it to both XBLA and PSN. I might get a copy on both systems actually.

I can see the PSN audience buying this game. It's sort of like fl0wer or fl0w.
I hope it does well.

I've played through the demo and it only left my wanting more.
For a flash game (the demo at least) it's really well made. I can't wait to see what they can do on the consoles.

I played the full thing when it was free on the internet, it's pretty fun and pretty challenging.

If a game like this is planned for PS3, why can't we have Machinarium?
taurus82 (Point & Click-Graphic Adventures on PlayStation 3 Please) @ Nov 5th 2009 5:28AM
I do like the classical music angle, but I hope other genres will be included like trance or techno.
Phil @ Nov 5th 2009 10:10AM
I remember this. I thought then and I still do now that it's music sounds like the theme from the Exorcist.

Hey guys, community mgr for 2BeeGames here. Thanks for the interest! Some good news to report. We're working on adding a bunch of additional content.
If this games do well, then perhaps there will be DLC in the future ;)
@taurus82 - I love Machinarium and had a few chats with the developer on console ports a while back.
