Blizzard's a bit insane to try this sort of shit right now, and for this price. Holy shit. A dollar or two would be one thing, but $10? I might have gone for it a year ago or so (at a cheaper price), before I knew Old Republic was on the way and I was still Bilzzard's bitch. But uh, not now.

*shakes cane* In my day, you used to have to actually PLAY the game to get something like this, but now all you need to do is have more money. Official gold-farming, that's what this is. And this is just the beginning. They won't stop with non-combat pets. MARK MY WORDS.

How dare a game developer make money. What outrage! If only we could choose not to buy their products.

That's what the monthly fees of 10 million players is for. They make more money a month than the yearly per capita of many small countries. Do they really need more?

Sweet. Bought my pandaren as soon as I saw that.

10$ with 5 of it going to charity? Pretty good deal.

Hmm was there a falling out with Upper Deck who produced the CCG? Is this a sign of things to come for WOW which has frankly reached its peak?

(Clean of WOW for 8 months and no regrets)

What's next? Pay $50 for a level 80 character with decent armor? Or maybe they can cut out the gold farmers by offering better prices?

Don't get me wrong I like Blizzard and the time I spent playing WoW, but they sure a bringing a lot of micro transactions to this game.

Only half, and only until the end of this year. After December 31st, all the money goes to Blizzard. Them sick little kids have just under 2 months to hope Blizz money helps them.

Or you could just give all your money to charity :-D

Just saying....its your money they're giving to charity, not their own.

Whilst it's cosmetic I won't complain.

If a time ever comes when they bring in weaponry and armour for money I will quit that very same day.

problem is, they can.

Heirloom weaponry and armor, because the current pieces will not go above 80, nor will they provide any bonus past 79. They can throw those in for $5 for normal, add an extra 2.50 if they provide xp bonuses, and there you go.
