I hope your not talking about Ratchet and clank, because those ratchet levels are boring.

I bought my older brother an Xbox 360 Arcade last year and downloaded this one game on it for him. We played it on Christmas day all day and it was the best of times. If you're in the right state of mind (Souljah Boy) and you are with a good friend figuring out the puzzles together, it can be a magical experience.

WTF is bitching about replay value in a game like this? Do you people ever read books or watch movies?

The bitching is somewhat justified though. The main appeal is solving a series of moderately challenging puzzles and the satisfaction you get from doing so. That isn't easily repeated... You barely have to work anything out on your second playthough unless you have the memory of a goldfish.

The comparison to books and film doesn't work either. I've read and reread / watch and rewatched my favorite books and films countless times. Not all books and films are mystery and horror, and good stories are always worth experiencing at least a second time.

Braid's a great game though, and I played through it three times... So what do I know.

It seems like this just came out of nowhere, after saying a long time ago they'd be porting it to PS3. With so many disc-based games I've bought recently, we'll have to see when I can get around to this one.

I'm getting definitely getting this. Btw, are the trophies/achievements hard to get?

All but one should come by simply playing the game.

Only the last one is. The only way to complete the game is to complete all puzzles, otherwise you can't get to the last level. If you suck at puzzles you'll have a hard time, otherwise you'll definitely get 11 of the 12 achievements the first play. The last achievement can only be obtained after completing the game, you have to do a speed run of the entire game in under 45 minutes or so.

Assuming it has the same trophies as achievements of course.

I'll definitely be picking this up. I love 2D platformers and I'm knee deep in 'em what with the recently released Trine and this coming soon.

It was one of the few 360 games (Ninja Gaiden II, BioShock, Lost Planet, etc.) that I was jealous of, but gone multiplatform... so I'm glad I was patient again and didn't go and buy one.

Hey, it's about time. I've been waiting for this for a while. I gotta check and see if I still have enough money in my PSN "wallet"... may have to get another card if I don't.

I'm pretty interested in this game. Might end up getting it on PC, as I don't have a PS3 or 360.
