You might become entranced by the grandiose visuals featured in the latest trailer for Darksiders, which we've posted above -- however, don't let your sense of sight get you too distracted from the video's sounds. It might be too soon to say, but it looks like Darksiders could be the most gravelly-voiced video game in the history of the industry. Seriously, even the woman briefly featured in the above trailer makes Solid Snake sound like Dakota Fanning.
Check out the trailer, but keep in mind that it comes to us from the mysterious land of Europe, explaining the release date of "08/01/2010" which appears at the end of the video. See, they do dates backwards in that continent. Just like they do democracy.

Well we all write hours before minutes don't we? The month is simply more important information when giving a date the same as the hour is more important than the exact minute, that's why we give them first.

Surely months, days, hours, and minutes are all irrelevant! It's the moments that matter, and they need no measure.

Yeah, when will the US realise THEY do it 'wrong'. If their system is correct it should be "20010/01/08" which it isn't. ;P
Face facts US folks, you got it wrong again just like how you say "Aluminium" (READ the word! Don't forget that last 'i' there now will ya?) and "I could care less" (which means you actually do care) when you should say "I couldn't care less" for the correct meaning.
People in glass houses etc...

You are all slaves to the clock and the calendar. Buck the system, maaaan. I haven't been "on time" for years, yet I always show up when I intend to.

Oh and in the UK when you see "08/01/10"
it reads (and is said) as "the 8th of the 1st 2010"
the US way doesn't 'read' correctly in that format so you can only look at it as numbers, resolving the month numeral to a word "January the 8th 2010" but that's pretty pointless as you may just as well write it out if it 'resolves' to that. UK way is snappier, makes more sense and is just better (cos we invented America and it's language ;P)

"Aluminium" is a chiefly British spelling. We pronounce it different 'cause we spell it different.

Football is played with feet, not hands. Months are longer than days but shorter than years, obviously. Aluminium is like many other materials ending "...ium". "Maths" is plural because it's shortened from "mathematics", which is also plural. Your beer tastes inferior to real ale and anything European. "Flashlights" don't flash unless there's something wrong with it or you're using it for morse code ("torches" have been around since somebody wrapped a branch in cloth and lit it). And lemonade is fizzy, dammit!
Doozer - good shout on "could (n't) care less" - that really makes me question human intelligence when I see it!
Just foor laghs, hehe. Feel free to argue back!

It's too bad they didn't feature any of Mark Hamill's voiceover, I can't get enough of that sweet sweet mad joker voice.

What is going on with this game's marketing? From what I've heard, it's a perfectly decent "God of War meets Zelda" game. It's out in 2 months, and I've seen no recent assets or coverage. It should be gold soon, but all they have is this weird CG trailer?

This is the game that Joe Madureira helped design? It has the solidness (as in bulk) feel of his characters.

Yes, sir.
You can especially tell when you look at everyone's hands. Always makes me think of Gully from Battle Chasers.

The design of this game reminds me of Brutal Legend.
Take that as you will.

They must be spending the last 3 months getting the voices to sync up with the characters. Looks pretty bad unless that's just how the video is.
