Wal-Mart offering $100 gift card with purchase of Xbox 360 Arcade

Black Friday isn't the only day in November where prices are eviscerated and sweet deals are distributed like confetti at a Flaming Lips concert. Wal-Mart has begun posting ads for a batch of sales being offered this coming Saturday morning -- one of which will be particularly intriguing to the prospective holiday console buyers among you. While supplies last (and we assume they won't last long), anyone who purchases a $199 Xbox 360 Arcade bundle will receive a $100 gift card to boot.

A free Benjamin's worth of Wal-Mart products? That's enough to buy a couple of games for your new system! And it's only $35 short of the price of an Xbox 360 120GB hard drive! Or, you could buy two Xbox 360 Arcade bundles, and then have enough in gift card money to get a third one -- plus another $100 gift card -- for free! It seems we've beaten the system, as it were. Wal-Mart, consider yourself outfoxed.

People are still playing the one system game? Come on haven't they been out for like 4 years?

Well what you do is, you get the 360 with $100 gift card. Then you sell it, get your 200 and combine with your 100 gift card and buy yourself the elite. Total $200 for brand new elite.

I own both 360 and ps3 and have had the ps3 for over a year now. Honestly it has sat there collecting dust for the last 7 months with an occasional blu-ray being thrown in. The only games i bought the ps3 for were little big planet, metal gear (meh... it's no metal gear solid, but i did download it and beat it on ps3!) and ratchet and clank. Those are the only good exclusives i feel compelled to play. Resistance can suck gears of wars nuts! What a rip off!

PS3 has a very awkward and cheap feeling controller, and that playstation community that takes up a huge chunk of hard drive space is the dumbest thing i have ever seen. A bunch of prepubescent kids hitting on computer animated avatars, HA! Just loaded the Netflix to the ps3 and it is horrible compared to the Xbox. Need to have Netflix send you a software disc for an online enabled device??? Oh and if you cannot afford $50 for a better online world (that playstation tried to rip off from microsoft) then how do you afford internet in the first place?
