With as much as I find myself playing RB2, it's nice to mix it up a bit with LRB now. It makes even the older RB1 songs seem new again.

It always sounded like an excellent idea to me. As someone who doesn't like proper rock music, but likes pop, and likes rythem games, this was GREAT. I thougth this was an awesome idea. To me, ITS A LOT BETTER THAN BRINGING OUT GUITAR HERO NUMBER 5 or ANOTHER ROCK BAND. Lets face it, they could just add DLC to many of those, but no, they bring out a new disk each year.

But lego rock band? Its no more a sell-out than the beatles. Its a totally different concept: a fun, poppy game. People who only want the pop-music (with soem slight rock overtones for godo measure) don't want the yucky presentation of normal guitar hero. Sure, people who actually like rock music would. But to people that like pop, thats just ew. So we get a more light-hearted presentation in line with my light-hearted songs.

It makes so much sense and is great. I swore to never buy a guitar hero or rockband game after buying guitar hero 3, but this changed my mind.

this game is actually really well made, if they mix elements from this game such as interactive venues, costumizing your house menu, a story thats pretty decent and entertaining, not playing the same 3 songs over and over again, a variaty of songs from the past to present and not shyt that comes out for dlc every week to promote a new release, and if they mixed this with some of the things done on rb2 and beatles, they can make a pretty kick ass rock band 3, but harmonix are starting to be litttle advertising hores, so hoping for something like that might be a little impossible :p

It's a damn shame so many people are writing this off as a cash-in. It actually has a lot of heart, and loads of charm.

This game looks dumb. Lego Rockband did not need to be created. I hope it sells 5 copies worldwide. I really thought it was some kind of joke when i first saw it, but they are serious. Total waste of time, for them and me.

The only problem I have with the game is the fact that a lot of my DLC isn't showing up in the game... I'm sure that's because it's not kid friendly... but is there any way to enable the songs?
