Military Madness: Nectaris

Welcome to my PS3. We have punch & pie.
Everyone else, get the hell out of my update. Two seperate Dragon Age DLC packs for that much? No thankyou. Not until I finish the game.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith @ Nov 5th 2009 7:26PM
You should get the Stone Prisoner for free...at least I thought. Or was that CE only?
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 5th 2009 7:58PM
I have no idea. To be honest I haven't even picked up the game yet. It'll probably need to wait a couple of weeks. Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders must be paid first.
Discotheque @ Nov 5th 2009 8:17PM
Yeah Stone Prisoner should be free with all new copies. They are just posting that dude up so later buyers can purchase it.
Warden's Keep, however, is paid DLC.
PSN: Str84rumBk @ Nov 5th 2009 9:03PM
already have modern warfare and OMFG the game is great if you dont believe i have the game feel free to add me
kentuckyfried @ Nov 5th 2009 9:27PM
Stone Prisoner was free...at least in my copy of Dragon Age that i got on release day, it came along with the game, so it was a pleasant surprise.
psn: ijustw1n @ Nov 5th 2009 10:37PM
Releasing dlc right after the game comes out if the most jacked up screw job there is. "We're not still working on adding content, we left this out, if you want it, pay 20% of what the entire game costs."
DLC has ruined this generation of games. No resell value, poorly priced in comparison to the complete product. Nothing redeeming about it unless it's released free.
Cody @ Nov 5th 2009 7:23PM
1st and sweet motorstorm demo
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith @ Nov 5th 2009 7:26PM
No, no, no-Spyder is first!
charlie b. @ Nov 5th 2009 7:29PM
maybe Cody is first to download the demo?
NevilleThegame @ Nov 5th 2009 7:33PM
im looking forward to that aswell
MrXile @ Nov 5th 2009 7:40PM
lool
he WAS actually first, look at the time posted.
Then again, I hate cocks who say 1ST!!! Whats the point?
Are you a loser who always comes last in life so has to WIN something on the internetsssssss?
LOL!!
devilsei @ Nov 6th 2009 2:07AM
You're going down for this cody! You're a loose cannon!
lenandude @ Nov 5th 2009 7:30PM
Wait... Oh ok. I already played the Trine demo. I guess it was on the Euro store.
Andrew Banchich @ Nov 5th 2009 7:33PM
Where's Braid???
Spino Prime @ Nov 5th 2009 7:36PM
Braid is next week.
emperorzeroxx @ Nov 5th 2009 7:40PM

Bagels (@AlsoBagels) @ Nov 5th 2009 7:45PM
Back on PS1.
Bob @ Nov 5th 2009 7:54PM
Damn!!! I want Gex: Enter the Gecko. I remember playing that on N64. It was so bad but for some reason I loved it!
Jocaju @ Nov 5th 2009 9:10PM
I remember when I used to play on 3DO, very good memories though.
Levi @ Nov 6th 2009 12:04AM
I loved enter the gecko.
CubeGuy @ Nov 9th 2009 3:12AM
Everyone forgets that Gex started on the 3DO...
Actually, is the PS1 game the same as the 3DO version? I may just buy it if it is.
MrXile @ Nov 5th 2009 7:38PM
Dragon Age just come out and already there are two DLC packs.
One highly expensive. Why are developers screwing us over?
Who are the muppets that keep BUYING this stuff over the years to prove to these developers that it will make money.
Years gone by, we would simply get most of the stuff IN the original game.
Its pathetic!!
tmacairjordan87 @ Nov 5th 2009 7:41PM
If you buy Dragon Age new in stores you get the expensive DLC for free, the stone prisoner one. I believe it also comes with the cheaper DLC too, but I don't know for sure.
Orchard Pear @ Nov 5th 2009 7:42PM
They're extra, not part of the main storyline.
Gaming is an expensive hobby. Either deal with it, or go get a library card.
Einhanderkiller @ Nov 5th 2009 7:43PM
Those two DLC are free for anybody who purchased the game new.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith @ Nov 5th 2009 7:43PM
Again, the Stone Prisoner content is INCLUDED WITH THE RETAIL COPY. This is to discourage used purchases. So it's only one, more modestly priced DLC pack, that you don't actually have to buy.
Veign06 @ Nov 6th 2009 10:42AM
LOL already bitching about DLC for a game you obviously dont even fucking have! I love it! If you do somehow have it, you are either blind or stupid as it comes with a big insert with the code and explanation of the DLC. If you found it used already, its still on the damn box and in the manual. The $15 one is free with a new copy and the $7 is DLC you have to pay for if you want it...plus there was already an article about this on this very site. I believe they were saying it was the decision of EA, not Bioware but do not remember the details.
kaboomski @ Nov 5th 2009 7:42PM
Actually Gex is a mascot from 3D0, not PS1. It appeared on PS1, but I think only after the 3D0 taked. Yes, I had both Gex and a 3D0.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith @ Nov 5th 2009 7:44PM
Wow. Which version did you have?
MrXile @ Nov 5th 2009 7:51PM
Me too, I spent £400 on the 3D0, and hundreds on games, Gex was one of them (dont even mention Demolition Man to me again!). Road Rash was excellent on that system though!
Less than a year later, the system was defunct. A complete failure. lol
The only use I got out of it after it tanked, was as a movie player for the 20+ VCD's I bought.
fatherb @ Nov 5th 2009 8:21PM
The whole system was planned to fail from the beginning. Are you typing 3DO (3 dollars only = publisher costs) as 3D0 as it was an empty promise such as 0bama.
Jocaju @ Nov 5th 2009 9:17PM
I never actually owned one, but I used to pay a quarter to play for half an hour on a 3DO or SNES. The 2 games I remember playing a lot on 3DO was Gex and the Original Need for Speed (loved the Toyota Supra and Lamborghini Diablo VT on that game). I'm getting Gex for the nostalgic factor.
Nick @ Nov 5th 2009 9:28PM
I had a 3DO specifically for Star Control II, god I loved that game "We are the pakunk!"
But Gex was awesome. It was cool to hear a character talking about opening a can of whoop-ass. The comedian who voiced him, Dana Gould, was always a favorite of mine.
I might just have to pick it up, it was pretty damn fun, too.
zenaxe @ Nov 6th 2009 1:25PM
Actually, I really enjoyed Gex. Everyone was trying to create the next big platformer mascot back then... Gex's attitude was fun for back in the day and the game was an enjoyable 2d platformer...
I think the PS1 could have used more 2D games, the PSX 3D was actually pretty nasty in retrospect and doesn't hold up as well. I've played some old PS1 games on my PS3 and the 2D titles look so much better than the 3D ones... Fortunately they all look pretty decent on a small PSP screen! :)
eNrique @ Nov 5th 2009 7:46PM
Getting Numblast, and still waiting for.-
Explodemon
Retro / Grade
PJ Shooter
Gravity Crash
And I've been playing Mushroom Wars and so far it's awesome, Creat Studios always supports its games with booster packs and free updates (like mouse suppor for Mahjong), I think that if Mushroom Wars received an online 4 player multiplayer patch, it could be the best downloadable title to date.
Please, Creat make it online.
MrXile @ Nov 5th 2009 7:49PM
Ahh well that's a bit better!
@Orchard Pear, I have been gaming since before you were born, and probably earn more than you could think of. So expense is not an option.
Its the fact EVERY game now, however good, bad or ugly, HAS to have DLC.
Some of it very very very overpriced for no reason.
IT SHOULD BE IN THE GAME TO BEGIN WITH!
But, certain (millions) morsals buy the DLC week in week out and it will continue, and we shall continue to be paying out more and more for a game we already purchased.
It's not on.
ROC EAGLES3 @ Nov 5th 2009 7:59PM
360 users get NCAA Basketball 10 demo, while PS3 gets the shaft and must wait until 2 days after release date. WTF
Jesus (PSN: Luttdawg) @ Nov 5th 2009 8:00PM
Not very popular? Man that game sold like crazy and my friends and I use to smash it, it was awesome!
johnnynumber5 @ Nov 5th 2009 8:07PM
I've given up all hope that the Burn Zombie Burn in Space DLC will make an appearance any time soon. Such crap.
jayj @ Nov 5th 2009 8:09PM
isn't it a bit ironic that military madness comes out today? with what happened at Fort Hood.
Nook @ Nov 5th 2009 8:08PM
every psn update is going to suck for me until re2 is posted.
come the fuck on already.
Kinsey @ Nov 5th 2009 8:14PM
Didn't Trine demo come out last week? I already have it downloaded from last week.
Phil @ Nov 5th 2009 8:38PM
You must have got it from the UK store.
AerialAngel @ Nov 5th 2009 8:24PM
YES YES YES YES YES !!
GEX is finaly here. dammit i cant wait to play that game again. i have it on disc but im going to just get the dd version :)
hmm...one thing that sucks about the game is that it uses Passwords and not game saves sadly =/
MaliceMajorE15 @ Nov 5th 2009 8:30PM
the tekken themes are a whopping 30mb. they better be dynamic
Phil @ Nov 5th 2009 8:37PM
Thank God Dissidia has been released.
I honestly thought that the posts would've exploded with fanboy professions of love at this news after the weeks of whining.
Double J @ Nov 5th 2009 8:44PM
So....anybody know if the Ghostbusters PSP game is a decent port of the PS2 version? Sure, I already have it's grown up console brother, but having this version on the go would nice. I'm not looking for it to wow me.
shaybryder @ Nov 5th 2009 8:55PM
Dissidia! I guess they heard me complaining last week.
Kinsey @ Nov 5th 2009 8:59PM
lol ya your right.
Blonde moment / Brain fart
