Joystiq Podcast 116 - Canfax 720 edition
It's our angriest podcast yet as we argue about the merits of this console generation, Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed II (barely) and the films of Gary Ross. Plus, as a special bonus, we mention having giveaway bags of Blueberry Muffin Tops cereal but completely forget to give them away. So, we'll do it right here.

Captain Planet the poster has made Captain Planet the show more popular than ever.
I am glad that you were able to get the first comment.
Damian @ Nov 7th 2009 8:37AM
Slightly off topic, but there is a name for that tv show where Jamie Oliver is in Huntington.
It's called World's Fattest Town, so Justin was not far off with his prediction of the name.

You can't imagine the look of relief on my face when I saw you had the first post. I'm pretty sure sweat was beading on my forehead before I clicked through thinking "Captain Planet better be first......"
Also, probably the only time on Joystiq where I actually gave a fuck that someone was first.

That's depressing, Chris.
Crusty Magic @ Nov 6th 2009 2:42PM
I can honestly say that Blueberry Muffin Tops are amazing.
Found some a few months back and tweeted Justin about how good they are.
Courtney @ Nov 6th 2009 2:44PM
Blueberry Muffintops!!!???? Yah!!! I've yet to try any, silly grocery stores in my area don't carry them.
Also, nice to have this early, can listen to it to finish off the day's work.
McBrick @ Nov 6th 2009 2:59PM
Walmart carries them. Walmart is everywhere. Problem solved. Good luck.
Courtney @ Nov 6th 2009 3:01PM
Really? I haven't darkened the door of a Wal-Mart in years. I'm not sure if the potential deliciousness of Blueberry Muffintops is worth the little bit of my soul I lose by crossing that threshold.
McBrick @ Nov 6th 2009 3:52PM
If you can't stand to give the ghost of Sam Walton your money (and I don't know why you'd feel that way but don't need to get into that) then go here: http://www.econsumeraffairs.com/mom/ProductLocator.htm
You know, we've been making muffins out of cereal for a long time; turnabout is fair play, I always say.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith @ Nov 6th 2009 3:56PM
Wal-Mart is a pretty good store. You're missing out.
Courtney @ Nov 6th 2009 4:13PM
I tend to find that for most of the stuff I buy, I can get it at other stores for the same price or cheaper than WalMart (especially video games). Also, even when I might save some money, I value my time more than the couple of bucks I might save. A trip to WalMart takes at least 30 minutes between parking, walking in, finding what I want, checking out, and finally getting back to my car. At other stores, I can get in and out in just a few minutes and be on with my life.
Michael @ Nov 6th 2009 3:21PM
Blueberry Muffin Tops!

Ill trade one of my phat gold chains for dem muffin tops.
The Dark Wayne [Planeteer: Power of the Batusi] @ Nov 6th 2009 2:54PM
I cant wait to hear what Justin has to say about Brutal Legend and Dragon Age, but God! How you torment me with Assassin's Creed 2!
The Dark Wayne [Planeteer: Power of the Batusi] @ Nov 6th 2009 5:56PM
on the subject of Dragon Age's DLC, the wardens keep one is fun, and you get some sweet armor and access to your own little trader cabal and i felt it was worth the 7 dollars. As for the stone prisoner DLC, this was really really great, just like they say he's a full character not just an extra little nugget, he has fully developed dialog, deep characterization, interaction with other npcs, and he's really quite funny, you really should buy this game new just for him
Deven @ Nov 6th 2009 3:02PM
This podcast sucks. Well..not really. I just want a BRU..BRU...BRU...BRUSH WITH FAME!!! I want my signed copy Crazy Garage for the DS!
