Are you serious? Conversations in ME 1 were a lot more awkward and stiff. The characters barely moved around much, mostly standing straight up right next to each other, maybe making a few hand gestures and there were at most 2 diff camera angles: usually one close-up and one over-the-shoulder angle, and that was it. This not system seems a lot more dynamic, characters move around -- as well as the camera-- they change positions, look around, just overall seem more "human", organic, and more fluid in general.

Graphically there isn't a difference. I notice a difference in the direction and movement, but the angles still aren't phenomenal. I like them being more fluid and dynamic, but the camera angles are still awkward and the graphics aren't any better. They are still amazing, just not better.

I think you need to go back and look at ME 1. The lighting is vastly better, the textures are a lot sharper, the faces look better, didn't notice any framerate hiccups or stutter (big issue in the first game), no random texture pop-in , no low-poly face shadowing. Pretty much everything about this game, presentation-wise, seems better. It's not a generational leap, mind you, but vastly sharper and cleaner all around. [this is coming from somone who's logged over 100 hrs in ME 1]

See, i noticed a major slowdown during Garrus' introduction, but that could have been my computer. I'm not going to judge any lighting or framerate issues until i have it on the 360. The difference between the PC ME and the 360 version was pretty staggering.

Honestly, i'm not worried about the look at all. As long as my character renders this time, i'm happy. If i have to watch a dramatic scene with only my gun in the frame and Wrex's body being completely smooth, i'm going to throw a fit.

This game still looks to be my most anticipated game of next year, or any year for that matter. I cant' wait to see what's going on in the story.

What on earth happened with the music at the end? Why was it so loud, so... out-of-place, and why was it playing over all the talking at the end?! That was annoying!

Also, gotta give props over the ability to switch ammo mid-fight via the radial menu.

I wonder if Garrus was separated from Sheppard due to a choice in ME1 and just part of what happened between the games. In my ME 1 game, Garrus and I rolled deep till the end.

****THIS IS FULL OF NOTHING BUT GIANT SPOILERS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED*****

Well, in the first game if you chit-chatted with Garrus enough you could get him to re-enlist in the spectre program.

Now my guess is that if you save the council, and convince him to re-enlist, this particular scenario we're seeing may not exist -- as he would be a spectre. So I'm guessing this video is the result of either not getting him to re-enlist, or letting the council die, which I'm sure affected the spectre program and c-sec, and which would force Garrus into low-level merc duty to survive (as we see in this video).

Also, I have a feeling that after ME 1, Garrus might've went on and did his own thing. So who knows. So if our choices from ME have those kind of consequence in ME 2 then that would be sooooo awesome.
