This latest trailer for Super Street Fighter IV shows off the new online modes, including the "Endless Battle" mode that allows up to eight players to play multiple matches, with the loser of each match going to the end of the virtual line; the "Replay Channel," which allows players to record and view replays together with voice chat; and a bunch of new tournament options.
It's all great stuff, but we know what you came here to see: If you skip to about the 2:30 mark, you can watch Ryu car bashingand barrel bashing! Check out how excited the kilted barrel-dropping machine operator is -- he loves watching his barrels get smashed!
"Am I the only one that doesn't understand the draw of Endless Battle mode?"
It adds the old arcade feeling. I remember playing Street Fighter in the arcade and everyone waited in line with their Quarters up waiting to get a piece of the top player that no one could knock off.
Yes I was just thinking the same thing. It's too bad that they can't have turbo options with this version. I personally prefer a little more speed to my fights. I always feel like I'm fighting while wading through a pool of molasses in SFIV. Biggest reason I stopped playing it was because the speed was killing me. SLOW SLOW SLOW!. I wish they would have added the turbo option on here. Would have been happy with at least double the movement speed for fights.
So I guess we'll be seeing Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Ultimate Destruction Fighters Happy Dance Dance Fireballs In Your Face Remix sometime later next year. Expect the SFIV Turbo Ultimate Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious edition holiday 2010.
Still no info on what that 2 is next to the ultras, huh...Oh well cool they gave the fans exactly what they wanted. Endless mode is huge to me, but the other stuff isn't too bad either.
They already mentioned it will be more than 3 new character. They also mentioned the game is not going to be full price. :/ I bet if someone gave you $1,000,000 you'd complain because they didn't give you $2 mil...
Gotta love fanbois. Sad little kids, you'll be late for your burger flipping job if you spend all day online.
Good news about the info I clearly didn't have, though. Now down rank my comment and thank your overweight mothers for letting you stay in the basement. Internet makes you big and stwong, doesn't it? Haha.
MLS - hey, I never claimed to be "right". I have no problem with being wrong, I'm human - it happens. AND I thanked ya'll for the good news! But when dealing with douche bags like you guys, who jump all over someone at the drop of a hat. Man, if only I could get IPs. :)
You're an idiot, and whats up with that, "flipping burgers, basement"? What do you do? My guess would be nothing, stop this, "holier then you" crap. You can't even reply correctly, you're are all over the place like herpes, yet you call people out. See that "reply", click it, type, STFU, make your millions whoring your mother, then kill yourself.
On topic: I tried out SF4 at a friends and really liked it, maybe I'll pick this game up instead. I hope the online is good, as I didn't get to try it out, I need a fighting game anyway.
Endless mode sounds stupid. The main reason why fighters should be online is so that you don't have to wait in long lines. Maybe there should be individual rooms of 8 people that can have mini tournaments or rotate fighting each other
Its nice to see them, possibly, get the replay feature right. The manner in which they added it to SFIV was fail. Also, the return of bonus stages is great, but I just hope there's more regular stages, too.
Either way, it'll be a buy for me... although I hope Capcom keeps their word about making it worth it for early adopters (see: give me a $10 off coupon, Capcom! lol).
this looks really cool and all but i am never buying another capcom game at launch since they seem to be doing all these re releases for all there games, sorry lost planet 2 but you just got bumbed to a rent
What does "cannot change the original code" mean to you? And really, would you enjoy downloading your games than have a physical copy free of glitches and hiccups?
