You, sir, are an asshole. A lot of people (my little brother included) were hoping to get in on that deal for Xmas considering how tight money is lately and it's largely because of asswipe flippers like you that a ton of kids won't have the gift of gaming this year.

This seems an appropriate time to remind everyone to make sure to give generously to Child's Play this year.

The inventory system was a little cumbersome, but it wasn't that bad.
I never had a problem with the elevators.
Quit yer bitchin' already.

Elevators aren't much of a problem on the PC. If you install the game on your 360 hard drive the elevators, and loading in general is noticeably faster.

I played mine on the 360, though, without installing it. The elevators were never more than a couple seconds wait.

There are definitely some long elevators. Even with the game saved on my 360's HD, I still noticed overly long loads in the citadel elevators (though this is mitigated by the fast-travel system) and, I believe, Noveria. Everywhere else was fine, but I think those are two of the most elevator-laden areas, so maybe that's why I noticed it more.

As for the inventory, while it can be cumbersome, and I while I wish they would warn you about the inventory limit sooner, after awhile you learn how to make priorities and work with the flaws of the system. A major frustration I see with the system is the lack of a quick way to dump off a lot of the weapon upgrades. I found that just selling them was the easiest way to free up space quickly, as the system for selling is light years more efficient than sitting in your inventory screen and selecting one by one and having to scroll all the way back down to you low-level gear. So to anyone with inventory issues, sell your old, un-used sh*t as you go. Trust me it'll save you a headache later.

I actually preferred the elevator rides to the loading screens Dragon Age has. At least you kept sight of your characters.

Here's why you should buy this game.

The epic BioWare storyline goes like this. You are Commander Shepard, the most friggin awesome human being to ever exist, hands down. You are a reincarnation of Jesus, Leonidas, Master Chief, George S. Patton, Shaquille O'Neal, Luke Skywalker, Lara Croft, Joseph Stalin, Jean Grey, Jesse McCartney, Captain Kirk, Albus Dumbledore, Jessica Alba, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Julius Caesar combined. Simply put, you cannot be touched, except when you want to be. You start off serving aboard a super-hyper-advanced human starship called the Normandy, also known as the "SS Acid Trip," which can pwn Einstein by going faster than the speed of light. Ships in this world get around the galaxy via Mass Relays, which are basically massive floating platforms of pure win that teleport ships across the galaxy.

Does anyone know if this game has SecuROM on it? I know the retail version does, and I'm weary of touching anything with that again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all games purchased through Steam ONLY have Steam DRM, as it becomes tied down to your Steam account.

you can install steam games on any computer you want to, but they can only be accessed by your account, in offline or online mode.

I'd be careful and do some research about that. When bioshock first launched for PC it still had securom on steam. When Crysis and Crysis Warhead launched for steam they had securom as well.

If anyone cares, I ordered ME2 CE on amazon yesterday (for 360) and on checkout it deducted 10 bucks off the price so the CE is on for regular edition price. But it didn't show until checkout. Just, FYI if anyone wanted to pre-order on amazon.

It's un-American to not buy such an awesome game at such an awesome price. I own it on 360, and have beaten it like four times, and I STILL bought it for PC. Mostly because I want the option to be able to get Mass Effect 2 for PC, which I'll probably end up doing if the PC version of Mass Effect is as much better as I've heard.

Bought it on Steam, but sadly it is a slideshow on my laptop. Really disappointing considering I was so excited to play it.

Someday I'll have a new system and will be able to play it there.

Hey, guess what, Valve? My money is currently unavailable in your wallet! So, fuck you!

Yup, it's all Valve's fault. Certainly not the fault of the publisher of the game. Ayup.

I love this game and played the crap out of it on the 360, but never purchased it because I had Gamefly. I almost bought it two weeks ago at the $20 dollar price, and it would have been a great deal even then. But quite honestly, I couldn't resist when I saw the price cut....$10 for this game is a steal. An absolute smash hit by BioWare, and I am psyched for the sequel.
