I'm really surprised by Shattered Horizon. It's an original FPS and has some very solid gameplay.

Not really shocked by CrimeCraft being free. You can't charge people for garbage and expect happy customers.

Wow that was fast!
That game definitely looked lame from the moment it started leaking images. It was obviously a thrown together budget game trying to cash in on mmorpgs + gta with actual good gameplay being an afterthought. I think once someone does it right a FPS MMORPG could be a huge cash cow that changes the mmorpg game like WOW did.

Carmack was smart to hold off on announcing that Rage wouldn't have a dedicated server model. Now, with everyone's attention focused on IW, his announcement slipped by, and by the time the game comes out, it won't be the issue that MW2 was.
Not saying I agree with him, but it was a good move to wait.

My impression was that Rage was 2 player coop only, why would it have dedicated servers for that?

I believe it has online multiplayer as well.
I haven't followed it TOO closely, though, as I'm more interested in Doom 4.

John Carmack can suck my left nut. Nobody plays his games for multi anymore anyway. I'm not sure anyone even plays single-player id games anymore. Back to obscurity Carmack, back to obscurity with you.
